Thank you everyone for the replies so far.

I definitely didn't mean safewording. I've actually never safeworded and it would probably take something a lot worse than what we've done to make me do it. But I just can't help making a protest when something "bad" is going to happen and I think he takes me up on the protest too much *L*

Thanks everyone, I gave him an outline of what was said, removing any type of distinguishing comments now just have to see what he can make of it all.

ProlificNeeds -> RE: What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/11/2008 1:20:41 PM)

It took some careful thought, because I never had a general theme from one partner to another of things that irritated me, other than the obvious such as lying ect.

After giving it thought though, there is one general common theme that shows up, that really drives me insane. 'Delicate flower syndrome'. I hate being treated like I'm incapable of doing things. I'm smart, strong, and not a little girl who's afraid to cross the street. Some people dig that, and I do like some chivilrous overtures, like holding doors and offering the arm, I rather prefere it's offered as a courtesy, instead of assumed that I'm incapable. Pet names that imply 'delicate flower syndrome' usually drive me crazy too. Why can't I be 'killer' or 'crazy bitch' instead of 'little girl'? [&:]

I have several complaints about some tops (although I know all aren't this way).

1. Lying about their intentions.

2. Lying about their marital/relationship status.

3. Expecting subs who are looking for monogamy to settle for less.

4. Expecting any and all subs, even the ones they don't own to obey them.

5. Wankers.

6. Disrespect of a sub's hard limits.

7. Calling a sub they just made out or had sex with a "buddy."

I agree with the above, But number 7 the most... Its the most fustrating thing ever!

Daddyslilpookie -> RE: What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/11/2008 3:19:55 PM)

The issue I have with my Master is i wish he would put the toilet seat down after he takes a piss! I get up in the middle of the night to go pee and I fall in and realize the toilet seat isn't down not fun[:@].

Noticed any kind of trend????  most of the comments expressed could have been applied to any regular vanilla relationship [;)]

ditto. And...calling themselves a Dominant without actually being one, just because they think it will get them laid. There are many "Doms" on this site for example, who are more vanilla than most vanilla guys I have ever met.

hiswetness -> RE: What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/11/2008 7:37:10 PM)

this one reallllly happened to me.....Doms that end up wanting you to dominate them and be their Mistress.  Ok...maybe only happened to me...but its just wrong....

Lynnxz -> RE: What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/11/2008 8:23:15 PM)

O god....

1) The ones that demand instand submission from you, the moment you meet, like a chance run in at a play party. ("Nice to meet you, kneel bitch!")

2) The guys that are assholes to everyone, like the waiters at a restruant, because they feel it's part of their dominant nature... I've seen this at Munches before.

3) The one, that even though you two are in a commited relationship, continues to troll Collarme looking for another sub. >.>

LPslittleclip -> RE: What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/12/2008 4:11:04 PM)

I'm still a bit new to the lifestyle and i haven't had a lot of different dominants (2 others) so i don't have a lot to go on but my only one would have to be the dominants who don't take care of there submissives. this could be not ensuring safety during play or not attending to aftercare. i do agree with the other items like expecting all submissives to be so to them as well and such.

liminalRapture -> RE: What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/12/2008 8:25:03 PM)

I have two big ones.  Tone--as in, I don't like someone to be angry with me if I haven't done anything wrong.  It puts me in a bad space.

The other is all the vanilla stuff.  Values.  Cherishing me more for my intelligent than my tits. Do we laugh at the same jokes?  Does he think quicly. That sort of thing.

fluffyswitch -> RE: What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/12/2008 10:36:18 PM)

my.name.is.not.fluffy.

and yes i'm actually a switch, and while i know that i'm not the dominant in my current relationship, it doesn't mean that it's not there.

i don't know i guess my current issue is realizing that while i trust Him that doesn't mean that things are all that easy for me to get used to, mainly because i've been really burned by past dominants in the same areas. and the wording of things--like don't tell me that you have to go to work so you can't come over tonight but then make 'all night' type plans with someone else. just tell me you would rather spend the night with someone else. but that just bugs me in general.

and acknowledge me in public once in awhile. hi i'm standing right here, it's not in the protocal, and your friends are looking at me like i'm sprouting another arm or something.

i guess stupid little stuff shrug...

OriginalStuff -> RE: What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/12/2008 10:47:04 PM)

Okay I have to put in My own feelings  on this subject, and some My girl has shared with Me in the past..

I have several complaints about some tops (subs) (although I know all aren't this way).

1. Lying about their intentions. (I have  witnessed submissives  doing the same. Lying is just not allowed period....in any relationship)

2. Lying about their marital/relationship status. ( Again. Lying is just hurtful and Not Allowed..... Period..How can any relationship survive without trust in it.)

3. Expecting subs who are looking for monogamy to settle for less. ( Be clear and define your limits hard and soft ones, from the start of the relationship, again truthfulness required)

4. Expecting any and all subs, even the ones they don't own to obey them. (I seem to find this amongst Male Doms mostly, but I have also came across some Females that share this same problem, the " I am better then thou "syndrom" LOL.I treat everyone the same at first, with respect, until they prove to Me they arent deserving of such.)

5. Wankers. ( good lord do they ever stop????????? or the stalkers.... )

6. Disrespect of a sub's hard limits.( I have to say in Dom/mes Defense.. We are in this LS to push some, limits... and at times we do get awful close to going to far, if  We dont go past them. I know I have lit up My Own slave's panic buttons from time to time by even approaching some of them. But how do We grow if We dont try new things from time to time, and yes some hard limits should always remain just that.... children, animals  and yeah you know the limits I am talking about.)

7. Calling a sub they just made out or had sex with a "buddy."( I own a Teddy bear for that.. WEG)

Here, here!!

trusting -> RE: What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/13/2008 7:26:05 AM)

i would have to say my one and only complaint has always been a lack of appreciation over time... it is as if people start to simply expect your submission instead of treasuring it!

that too. just because i spend a lot of time around someone doesn't mean that i don't necessarily have better things to do, and i would like to feel that my presence is wanted/appreciated.

Tannie -> RE: What Type of Issues Do You Have? (3/13/2008 1:02:17 PM)

Lack of adaptability is my top pet peeve about tops/dominants.
