If you make plastic bags illegal then only criminals will have plastic bags.

Plastic bags are the reason that the city is going to Hell...Nothing to do with a high drop out rate. Teenage and single mothers. and gangs running amuck.

In all seriousness if you take away the bags that would probably end the sale of most drugs.

I dunno. This legislation could be really smart. It's not like they make plastic sealers for home use or anything!

Did you see the new Cabela's catalog?

       Saran wrap.  The cellophane from a pack of smokes.  Altoids tins.  The stuff from CA's medical marijuana dispensaries comes in those same little plastic boxes as grocery store berries.  And "origami" of course.

      Great idea, Chicago.  You just made it easier for dumb dealers to try and sell bunk bags, then look bad on the news when they get their asses shot for it.  Those baggies reduce violence.

and these people are supposed to be leaders, the people planning the future of this great city, those visionaries with the drive to make things happen.  things will be happening alright.   like maybe skits on SNL and alot of fodder for the late night comedians.  what stupidity!

seriously, i can only see them enforcing this law heavily on the west and southside of Chicago because basically that's where dealers are passing out tiny baggies for nickle and dimebags and/or white blow.  it's not going to stop them since they'll find another inventive way to do corner deals.

Didn't dealers used to use balloons instead of baggies?
What if they banned balloons?
What would all of the clowns do?

~~~~ using FR
I see a way for smokers to help pay for the rising cost of cigarettes!
"I will give you $10 if you save all those plastic wrappy things from your smokes for me this month." (They do still come plastic wrapped right?.........I quit smoking about 17 years ago)
