i was just curious if anyone else had played with this, and if so, what your thoughts and applications were.

My own thoughts:

They're reasonably priced compared to a TENS (a real bargain, considering that their inflation-adjusted price pushed a grand when new), and running off of line voltage (usually), they hit much harder at full power. It was designed to force muscle contraction, and it does work for that. The experience can be intense. Three channels seems to be the norm, as opposed to two on a TENS, although i've seen relaxacizors with six channels.

The pads do not interchange with modern TENS electrodes or any known electrosex device, but i splice blade connectors into everything, so it's no big deal for me.

Due to the power of the unit, i'm very hesitant to use it above the waist in ways that i would be willing to use a TENS, even though i managed to pick up a fairly full kit that includes a "facial beauty band" (!!!)

Biggest "con"- no adjustability in terms of how the current is delivered. It's a set pulse every second or so, and that's it, where even the most basic TENS provides a lovely modulating program. You can twist the dials either clockwise or counter-clockwise, and it seems that there is some kind of difference depending on which way you twist them, but i can't figure out what it is (i did not get a manual)

Second biggest "con"- all of the accessories are pink

In terms of safety... Although they were banned by the FDA (killjoys!), total sales are generally estimated to be around 400,000, with no known fatalities. And you know you can't count on half a million people to "use only as directed", so i suspect you have to screw up pretty dramatically to off yourself with one (your mileage may vary)

But, man... with a few modulation modes, they'd be sweet.

Other thoughts/experiences/etc.?

Good one, sounds like a new discovery for electro-play.
Perhaps if enough requests came in, the manufacturer would make them
available in different colors.
