unless you're intimate, why should they know?  and if you are becoming intimate, that is the time to say something.

try telling the internet radio listening world that you're kinky

it happened one day as a guest on a showgram in which i blurted out "yeah, i like to be spanked and flogged" without knowing it. yes i was nervous now that my "cover" was blown live on air however i'm glad i said what i said when i did because there would be no way i could hide my collars or my ankle chains from the bosses and staff.

so now our internet listening base knows i'm kinky *smiles* it's cool since a few djs do ask about Daddy, why i wear a metal collar around my neck, do i switch, etc - sex talk always make good ratings.

i find that once he removes the ball gag, puts the flogger back in the case, throws out the empty lube jar, and wipes the cum from my nose and ass...words just aren't necessary. But that's just me...
Seriously, i think noone but your sexual partner has the right to know how kinky you are.  For everyone else in my life, i just state "i'm a freak", people seem to be able to handle that.  How much of a freak...only fellow kinksters would envision[;)].

I live in a somewhat small community in North Dakota (about 70,000 people), I just broke up with someone I really liked and cared for.  This was partially due to my Brother dying a few months back and partially due to me being afraid to tell her about fetishes.......I am an adult baby/sissy/slave. I actually was afraid to invite her over to my house for fear of her finding my toys etc. which in part was a contributing factor to us breaking up I believe? My ? is has anyone else from a small "gossipy" town like I live in ever shared kinky secrets with a partner/lover? If so how did you approach the matter and did it have any negative cosequences? Is there any techniques that anyone has utilized to break the ice?  I wander if I am being too paranoid about the whole thing but yet am just really scared of being found out by friends and family, I am also very tired of being alone because of it!

Wellllll, you could do like I did and forget to turn the computer off...........oops. Or have the grands find, and drag the toy bag out of the closet "what's this grandmaaaaaaa?" in front of multiple family members.

I use the direct approach for those who ask.

I will be the kinkiest, nerdiest, witch you will ever met in your entire life.  (Works rather well since most who do ask are of the nilla world.)

You just walk right up and say, I am one of the kinkiest motherfuckers you are ever gonna meet in your life; Rev. Miller.

What you up to today?

AB is a tough fetish to find matches with...good luck.  You might have to venture further afield than ND, and travel somewhere to play.

softness -> RE: How do you tell someone you r kinky? (3/11/2008 10:53:40 AM)

I usually dont ... its the look of envy on my face when I see a dog with a particularly nice leash ... or the speculative look I get in the hardware shop .... or the doe eyed why I fetch and carry for them .. usually gets them thinking

that and when I subtly suggest they might want to slap me around the face .... fuck me up the arse ... cum across my face .. wipe their cock clean in my hair .. and send me off to make them a sammich... instead of having "coffee" on our first date

nodsnods .. yep those are usually the key indicators

We've been examining some of these similiar issues in our life.  We have recently gotten involved with a third, which opens up a whole new can of worms.  Our lifestyle friends certainly don't care, but we have co-workers and vanilla friends who will certainly raise an eyebrow, and wrapping our brain around family acceptance, not only of kink, but adding in poly and my girl's bisexuality is pretty tough.

I certainly refuse to skulk around and hide, but it does take some tact.

We then quickly change the subject.

I love it.  This sounds like it could be a commercial.  It reminds me of the MasterCard commercials.   [:)]

Hey, glad to get so much input from all of you!  you have all given me some great ideas that I feel may assist me in revealing my "kink" when I do meet someone special again?  I really have no problem meeting women it is just keeping them because I am afraid to share this side of me with them, it has been an ongoing thing in my life and I guess I just need to get over my fear? Some of my fav ideas I have come up with from this post are.........leaving the computer on and the pervert board game :)  You have all really helped me to feel better about myself and given some great input on a touchy subject.  I have read quite a few of your profiles (hope you don't mind) and what I see is a group of wonderful people!  Thanks again and hope people continue with this thread as I really am enjoying hearing the ideas and feedback!
