ah yes, the name tag thing...there was one group that used to hold parties regularly around here that had dots (like you use for garage sales) for the name tags that meant things - red=bottom, blue=top, yellow=switch, green=just watching...and you put whatever dot you wanted on your name tag, or as many as you wanted, like a yellow with a blue dot on top if you were a switch who prefered to top, or all of them if you were a free for all...lol...more colors, more options...

rainbow people?
I like the new pic chellekitty btw

Wow, what an amazing code. It would be so easy to know what other people were into or looking for. I can't believe no one ever thought of this before. Oh wait, they DID. Straight people might use stickers but gay people have been using hanky codes for a long time.

Anyway, I just have to say a few things to this entire thread. To the OP...correct me if I'm wrong but this party is for your Daddy and comprised of many friends of his/yours even though they come from different categories? I'm guessing that these friends are responsible adults whom you like and trust and feel confident in inviting to your home? If yes, then why so many worries about people getting unruly, the police getting called, people touching without permission, etc? I've had gatherings before where kinky and vanilla people are mixed and they tend to interact the way people in general do. Call me crazy but I don't think you need a lot of rules or special precautions. I would tell everyone that people may do things if they are comfortable but there's no pressure to watch or participate in anything and to just go with whatever they are comfortable with. From what I understand you're not just inviting random people to your house so my advice is to just relax and let people have a good time.

i have not met a single person that has known what every single hanky color is, and we're talking about hetro men here...if you get more involved than blue, green, red, yellow...they're gonna get confused....and they get really uncomfortable with even women staring at their butts for some reason...bizzare social morals...

if i had a hanky for everything i was into, i'd have umm a lot of hankies...i remember seeing a hanky tail at a convention....that would be me...one for bottom or the slight underlying of the possibility of switching is much easier, especially when you're dealing with people of different experience level...(heck i remember a story of a title competetor who couldn't say what the color they were flagging stood for - and it was black, even i know that)...

as for the need for rules...no offense to any swingers...but anyone who has ever been to a swingers club knows that it is the not so kinky swingers that need the rules...they have no boundaries in a "play" enviorment...

I was a DM at a similar style party. There were all kinds of people there. The only thing they had in common was being open-minded about being at a "sex" party. The wallflowers enjoyed themselves by watching the action and the sex folks had sex and the kinky folks played. I was mostly converned with the play, as that's why I was there, but I think it went off well. For the most part, I think everyone was titillated by having a bunch of gawkers, so the play wasn't all that wild. I can't speak for the sex, but the kinksters were aware of the "vanilla" folks.

Mostly, I think if I were you, I'd have a short list of rules and invite folks that you're fairly sure have a modicum of common sense and can keep their mouths shut.

Oh, and ENJOY![:D]

Say WHAT??????

No moaning from the swingers?   No cries from the masochists?   No jaw dropping from gawkers?

Where's the fun in that?

I don't really have answers for you, but this sounds like an interesting party to attend!

My area is full of the pg-13 flogger parties, and I have to admit to being slightly annoyed.  Sex is never officially against any rules, but the social norm has gotten pretty tame.  I'd love to have some porn actors to a party and let them liven it up!

It might be too late now, but I'd just tell the vanillaish folks that if they're seeing something they don't want to see, go somewhere else.
