Women are so funny when they talk about things like this. It's a freakin' toilet. It serves one, possibly two purposes and that's it. You're not sitting in toxic waste. You're not going to get aids from it.....just sit the hell down and pee already. Seems to me that all of the joking-yet-real things from the OP could easily be avoided if a chick would just sit the hell down.

Actually, since you can't read. The next part was "and pee already."

Though if I had a girl harping on me about a toilet seat, the next part would be "shut the hell up," followed by "if you don't like it, there's the door."

Oh. My. Gosh. i laughed so hard that my eyes were tearing, particularly when i read about the poor woman in London who was cleaned. That's the problem with a vivid imagination, you can picture yourself in that situation, and with the week i've had, i'm just lucky there were no toilets involved.

I always walk around with antibacterial wipes in my purse. When potty training my ums, I used to wipe down the top and bottom of the toilet seat and the front part where their legs would touch.. Yes, this amounted to me cleaning the public restroom but then I have been known to go extremes occassionally.. :)
This cycle of hovering and peeing must stop! I never could understand how grown women could know perfectly well they just fouled the toilet seat, yet not wipe away their own frigging pee..

I made a point of learning to pee standing up for just this reason but while I was pregnant i couldn't even do that... I actually peed in the sink once cuz my kid was on the potty in our house anf I HAD to go NOW....
