And here I thought I felt a small earthquake this morning.  It was just my pedastol dropping down a notch.

Yes and Rosanna Arquette is hot....but not in Crash.

Now the OTHER Crash I loved.  Does that help??

Yes.  That does help.  Both those last statements brought you back up that notch..........luci

house of 1,0000 corpses by rob zombie.....i only got about half way through it, then did a little satan worshipping to bring my mind up out of the gutter and get some goodness and light back into my head heh.

Wow.  That's one of my very favorite movies as well as the follow-up, "Devil's Rejects."  It's wild how some people can love something and so many others just not connect.  I guess that's the case for me and most popular movies.  I've seen many movies that I love but they usually are not the big blockbuster ones.  I can't really think of specific titles now but any major action movies just bore me and most comedies are not my kind of humor.

There have been a couple movies years back that I got talked into going out to see when they premiered and I just wanted to walk out.  I know "Predator" was one as well as "Bird on a Wire."  Horrible - how did I ever get convinced to go see them?.........luci

lmao!  i loved predator and bird on a wire....i guess we woulnd't make good movie watching buddies hehe.

As my beloved Futurama said, 'YOU WATCHED IT!  YOU CAN"T UNWATCH IT"
Never saw a Spielberg I liked, but wish I could unwatch Mouse Hunt with Nathan Lane, and Five Gates to Hell with Nancy Kulp [MissJane from Bev Hillbillies]

So true.  I always love threads like this because what one loves another hates.  It's so interesting to me to see what a person's faves and least faves are.  And even people who normally seem to share a brain can have such different opinions.......luci

If you'd never watched the film you wouldn't know how bad it is and so there is a chance you'll watch it in the future.

Oooh, nooo!  Now you made me think of it.  The memory of it is spreading, like a venereal disease.  Much like the movie, itself.

Peter O'Toole was quoted as saying that fortunately, he dies early on in the film.  He felt bad for the actors that lingered through the entire film.

I liked Crash '96, The Piano, Naked Lunch, Brazil and Draughtsman's Contract:  not lurved, but liked enough to have the DVD's.
Interesting that a lot of people disliked them as downer flicks, so speaking of, I'll add any 80's movie with Sally Field, and Arthur II.  I would have added anything with Tom Hanks, but except for him I liked The Green Mile, so he just escaped.

My then bf and I were at his dad's house in spokan, and we'd watched all the other movies on the shelf that any of us could of wanted to see, so I suggested watching Lord of the rings, and I found it so stupid and so boreing I fell asleep on the couch with the guys still watching it.

Thank you thank you thank you.  I rented Lord of the Rings and kicked myself for sitting through the entire thing.

Oh yeah, I hated The Matrix, too.

Ever since my days in NYC I never cared for the most drastic form of 'SM' movie - the 'Snuff' films.

At the top of my list of movies I wish I never saw would be Mel Gibson's snuff film with homosexual undertones - 'The Passion of the Christ'.

Sorry KatsClaws12, I'm just not a Jim Carrey fan which is extremely surprising since I loved the characters he played on the TV show "In Living Color", especially Fire Marshal Bill and Vera DeMilo.  Now, I think he is too silly in a stupid kind of way.  Now Adam Sandler and Leslie Nielsen are both funny as hell to me.
