Holy shit. There's a foot of snow out there and it is still coming. Mandatory excersise, I mean you have to shovel your way to the snowblower. All you four wheel drivers out there, nya nya, you have to shovel your way to your truck.I had to shovel my way out the front door. The pattern made in the snow by my screen door looked like ½ a snow angel. T

Here in Buffalo we just put winter tires on our cars. 1) Brush off snow from car 2) crash through snow no more shoveling drive way.

But...we don't know what to do with it... It's been ten years since we've had so much here... It was fun yesterday. I'm pretty much done with it now...

I used to live on a really tight knit block in Philadelphia. Every year we were snowed in, and our neighborhood had an agreement.. We all helped each other shovel our cars out and then we'd go in our houses and make some food, we'd meet at somebody's house for pot luck dinner. Towels in the foyer to catch the snow from all the boots, amazing cooking - what else was there to do, and cooking heated your house.... and then we'd play board games, talk, stand around and sing at the piano - some of the neighbors were professional musicians with a famous orchestra... It was an amazing experience. So, get to know your neighbors, have fun and make it a joyous time. And then go to the Bahamas.

holy shit? this is fucking god damn ridiculous!!!! IM SICK OF THIS... 50-60 centimetres this weekend..fri-sun. last week the same damn thing. record total snow fall in history already happened back in feb. I COULDNT EVEN ORDER PIZZA TONIGHT FOR FUCK SAKES!!!!

We went skating on the 401 this afternoon, 120 down the main stretches, no one out on the road and clear, but coming off the ramps????? was like dodgems out there, people skating across lanes, going the wrong way, reversing and sliding, Im so glad we got home in one piece. The garden is so deep the dog leaps around like a demented bunny trying to find a shallow spot to pee in. Is it august yet? Lucy

Here in central ny state we got a bad ice storm...it looks pretty on the trees and all but I'm sure it is slippery out...I'm not going out until tomorrow hehe

I think the official amount is 11 inches, so we got off easy (some areas were forecast for 12-15 inches.) I'm getting cabin fever..... thornhappy

i've got about 18 inches in my backyard youngsubgeoff, i'm up here close to the lake. hubby spent most of his day helping ppl get unstuck or dug out. he and the kids should sleep like the dead tonight, they're exhausted. PM
