Met up with arrowcw29 yesterday; we'd planned a dinner date but I had unexpected extra time and it was a good thing. Conversation ranged all over the map, and a whole lot of fun. Toys and techniques, anecdotes and examples, show and tell, vanilla life and computer crap...just a blast. Spent about 6 hours yakking as well as having a nummy dinner, and yes, he was just as advertised. Who we were pretty much matched what I, at least, thought in advance. Always nice to have the experienced exceed the expectation. We'll both be attending KinkFest later this month, and are both looking forward to it.

Follow-up to my initial meeting with arrowcw29--our oniline acquaintance came about through CollarMe; however, both being dominant, we weren't talking anything but friendship. And we developed that over a month or so of correspondence before the opportunity to meet came about.

Not only was he witty, intelligent, fun, and communicative, but he invited me to extend my stay a couple of days extra to make the local munch. He also let me know, delicately, if I was in any way uncomfortable or unsafe where I was then staying (because I ran a double-header and met up with two different CollarMe friends on a single trip), that he was happy to put me up in his guest room. I had to laugh, because the sub I was staying with had carefully arranged to have his cell phone accessible (against his work rules) during the dinner meeting, just in case I needed any assistance.

Two chivalrous gentleman, of the first water, in one fell swoop. Damn, how do I get so lucky?
