of course. but it's over and done with. it wasn't a crime... she left it there, it happened... I have learned a valuable lesson from this. nevah evah tell the forums about the silly/stupid things I do.

No, it wasn't a crime, and I don't mean to make christine feel badly about it. She didn't mean any harm. I simply disagree with how most are viewing what happened.

I thought it was funny ... and would have told the story over and over had the camera been mine.. I would have jsut been happy I got it back .. <shrug> ..... but then .. I find life funny most of the time .. better than to find it full of anger and tears

The camera was one of those disposable ones? For all intents and purposes it could have been discarded for any reason, including not working. I think if it had been the non disposable camera then it might have been different, maybe . Life is too short to worry about such things anyhow; the fact is drinking makes people act without inhibitions because it's a depressant so the whole argument about knowing better is irrelevant. Far worse to drink and drive than to drink and photograph, it's perspective.

People who take liberties with other people's belongings is a major pet peeve of mine, so while my examples may be on the extreme side, I still find them somewhat relavant in my explanation. I apologize for being snarky. I didn't get much sleep last night, I'm a bit under the weather, and it reminded me of immature assholes I went to college with. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a goofball and I'm all for a good time, but I would be livid if a strange guy were to take pics of his ass in the men's room with my camera. Like I said, if it was a friend's camera, then I find it different than taking a total stranger's camera and doing that. I believe in practical jokes on good friends, but I just find it tasteless and immature that she'd do it to a total stranger.

Yes, I wouldn't reccomend picking up someone's $500 Nikon and doing that...I wouldn't want to be responsible for breaking it. I'm sure if it HAD been an expensive camera Christine would have actually turned it in, without the potty pics...

If it was my camera, I'd be glad to get back. The real question is why did the owner have it the bathroom in the first place? What kind of pictures was she taking? Maybe she was upset because she didn't get to take any pictures with Christine.

I think most people are forgetting that Christine was tipsy and probably wouldnt have done it sober. And that it tickled her funny bone at the time. I for one find it pretty funny as well.

hmmmmm, honestly i've never looked for big fancy hats...maybe i can find a tie around the chin style in a nice earth toned calico print...oh but that is too pioneerish. geesh! i might have to buy one down there girl....but wait! i look horrible in hats! actually me thinks i should make my own hat, i could use a toilet seat as a base heh. i'm off to home depot!
