Termyn8or -> Got something to say about the Bush years ? (3/8/2008 11:28:37 PM)

Now here's one. Sounds radical on the surface, but if you just think about it for a bit it seems different. I don't care if you are a republican, support Bush, all that, this is a different issue. First of all it is very unlikely that we will have a repubican President next yesr.

Now in my opinion, the next administration should be looking at all the books about the dealings with Haliburton and a few other companies. I would like to see the shit really hit the fan about this. I think a few people belong in jail, but the right ones will never be put there.

This is way beyond Halderman, Eirlicman, Richard and Dean. They raped this country, and in my not so humble opinion, the whole Bush family should be sent to Siberia.

Did good in the Bush years ? well that is over. Oh, you are still friends with them, well that is fine, but each dollar they pay you to be their friend isn't worth a dime.

I was always the republican type, would vote for them and everything, but if that is what that party is putting out, forget it. Done. Over. How many more words do you need ? How many more deaths do you need ?

I would love to find a really good republican, but nobody in the Bush family should be allowed to be even a dog catcher or a manager of a McDonald's.

But if I was asked on a go-nogo basis if I was democrat or republican, I would have to say republican. But the Bushes are not republican. Not at all. The only way to describe them is Bushicans.

No Ron Paul, No Obama, no vote.

Gwynvyd -> RE: Got something to say about the Bush years ? (3/8/2008 11:48:56 PM)

Actualy I like Jeb and Babs... even though Babs calls Jeb's kids the " little Brown ones" that always Squicked me... I mean come one Babs.. it is 2000 and what? *smiles* ( For those playing the Home Game... Jeb's wife is Hispanic) Just make sure you deport the right ones Mmmmkay?

Yes Dubya and his circle jerk of buddies should be all deported to one of their secret prisons in the Ukraine and Waterboarded untill they give up all the info of how they have fucked over all of us in the years they have been in. ( WTF is up with that today BTW.... Huge sign to the rest of the bloody world that he are allowing a mad man at the wheel.. and none of us have the balls to stand up to him. )

No.. Dubya is not a Rep. not even close.. hell the Demos are more like Reps now. Most are right in the middle of the road or Right leaning.. and scared shitless of being liberal. No one wants a big govt. No one wants to spend more money.. that is all we got with King George... Huge Govt. That spied on us, told us what to do, who to love.. how to have or not have sex... what to watch on Tv... tried to censor that, and the internet.. how to be parents and teachers.. and spent all of the govts money to the point where we are into the Chinese for ungodly sums of money.

At this point Not wanting a Nanny state is a Liberal idea. Not wanting to tax and spend is Radical.

Just my two ducats.. keep the change.

Gwyn,
I always said Georgie was a moron since he was a boy.

Bush will get his eventually they all do. But jeez what horrible choices have they given us 3 war mongers all still promising to keep the ficticious "war on terror" routine going strong. Does anyone really believe any of these criminals are fit to run our country? This is the best America has to offer?
We are f*&ked

Hippiekinkster -> RE: Got something to say about the Bush years ? (3/9/2008 1:24:17 AM)

It is fucking hilarious to see all these "twue" Rethuglicans distance themselves from the Bushes and Cheneys and Rumsfelds.

"They aren't real Republicans!" they snivel. "They aren't true conservatives! They're RINOs!"

Ah hahahaha those candy-assed chickenshit cunts. Rats deserting the sinking ship is the perfect metaphor to describe them.

If they aren't Rethugs, who is? They belong to the party, they run as Rethugs, they vote as Rethugs, but now, all of a sudden, they aren;t Rethugs? These Neo-neocons sure are quick to disavow themselves from the very people that they supported.

"It ain't my fault! I never wanted the Iraq war! I never wanted the Middle class to be destroyed! I never wanted China to take over the funding of the US Treasury! I never wanted the Cheneys to move all their money to Dubai (Halliburton), Liechtenstein (what killer banking laws they have), the Channel Islands!"

Lying cocksuckers. They got EXACTLY what they wanted. They didn't get "Leebrils" and minorities in concentration camps, but they can't win them all, can they?

Shitbag fucks. (note: 3rd person plural pronouns substituted for 2nd person plural, where applicable and where I caught it.)

The sad part is that the fall out from the "george" years is going to be with us for a long long time.

Past sad. Existential Nightmare is more like it. They had almost 4 years to see what a fuckup this asshole was, and what do they do? Vote him in again! They even fuck with the voting machines to guarantee it!

Now they're all "oh, those guys aren't Real conservatives. They lied to us." The Rethug takeover of Congress, engineered by Newt (cocksucker used to live in my subdivision) in 1994, and the subsequent 13+ years should have given you a clue.

sharainks -> RE: Got something to say about the Bush years ? (3/9/2008 4:56:33 AM)

What do I have to say about the Bush years?  An old saying fits best "Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out."

He has undeniably been the worst president in office in my lifetime with his father running a close second.  I won't vote for McCain because IMO he will do his best to maintain the status quo of helping big business at the expense of the entire American public.

pahunkboy -> RE: Got something to say about the Bush years ? (3/9/2008 5:22:47 AM)

Try not to throw eggs when I say I been watching Fox.

Undoubtedly- you can say graphics have gotten  very good since the last  election. Fox  doesnt view itself as mainstream media where the leftwing inteluectual progressive seculars have taken over!

the hypmosis teckniques are stunning!  "Americas newsroom"  of course anything American is holy and pure.   put aside any opinion of what you think of Fox and take a peek.

If obama wins the terrorists will be dancing in the street which they did when  9-11  towers came down.  but why  do we automatically   think if "they"  dance in the street it is "bad"?

there in lies the culture war.  which I dont even want to here the world bi-partisan.  fcck it.  i do not negotiate with terrorists [even if they are wrapped in a US flag!]

ahh but you watch no spin.  you watch  fair and balanced.   YOU my friend have been hypmotised.

now as to bush. thank him for oil. we need  oil.  alternatives are what 1%  max.

--my thinking is this-   bush is the best the bible people could put up.  THE BEST. 300,000,000 ppl and geo bush is the absolute BEST.

so out w the rebubs. in with those fancy smatcy  "intelectuals"  from "mainstream media" whos data is not "fair balanced and no spin"

besides- dancing in the street is akin to towers coming down.  even tho  the dollar vs toilet paper- the one has value the other doesnt.  but hell over my dead body should dem dem dem dan ce in da street?\!

See?

I don't know.
On the one hand, I hate Bush. On the other hand, if we hadn't had a president like this, I doubt young voters would care as much as they do now about this next election. At least people aren't complacent anymore.

bipolarber -> RE: Got something to say about the Bush years ? (3/9/2008 8:15:43 PM)

Yeah, and the Roman people finally woke up about Nero as he played his instrument as Rome burned to the ground... (Actually, the story behind that was the Nero just wanted to burn down the slums... once again, the pooest people in a society, had to take it up the ass... just like they did with Bush.) I wonder if Nero flew over Rome burning, as Bush did the Katrina damage, if things would have been different?

kittinSol -> RE: Got something to say about the Bush years ? (3/9/2008 8:30:50 PM)

Baby Bush's years will be reminded throughout the world as some of the most barren and desolate in American history... his shameful record of foreign policy... the slimy kick backs to patrons of industry... corruption running high in Washington... people screwed over by big business and dying without medical insurance... children dropping out of school, barely able to read... the effects of our society of consumption on the environment, the shit in the air... Bush farts all over America, and we all enjoy the results [:'(] .

A total fiasco, especially on the finishing line... talk about exiting gracelessly, ahah!!! He can't bullshit his way out of this one. Bush can't hide: everyone is watching him and his minions slowly deflate before our very eyes. Like a horrible, postmodern entertainment... Maybe the silver lining to this phenomenal bastard of a cloud is that Bush has united many people under the hatred of him and of what he represents. His bad decisions and their consequences has shifted the focus to Washington... I think, I hope, that this time, America will UNITE.

Venceremos!!!

As much as I dislike the Bush administration....this is a little bit much.  Do you honestly believe that all of the above just started happening under Bush?  Politicians have been throwing kickbacks to industry for as long as industry has existed.  People have been getting fucked over by the rich since the beginning of civilization.  Children have been dropping out of school as functional illiterates for a long, long time now.  Over-consumption happens when the economy is good.  Well the economy went gang busters under Clinton, and is just now slowing down.  The environment began being destroyed at the onset of the 2nd industrial revolution, which happened over 150 years ago.  Bush is guilty of a lot of things, but c'mon.

sb, it's obvious that you're just being a trouble maker and thread hijacker, with your posting reasonable comments, and the like.

My comments on the Bush years: disappointment.

MWAHAHA!  I do so love being evil.

kittinSol -> RE: Got something to say about the Bush years ? (3/9/2008 9:00:36 PM)

Slaveboy, it's obvious that I'm deliberately being unreasonnable. I know that all of society's ills cannot entirely be attributed to Bushie, but what fun it is to do so! What better scapegoat is there around? This is a liberating thread. I held back quite a bit, but I'm not going to be super dupa fair to the Administration.

I'm sure you'll understand [:)] .

celticlord2112 -> RE: Got something to say about the Bush years ? (3/9/2008 9:02:43 PM)

My take on the Bush years:
  • Loved the tax cuts.
  • Applauded Afghanistan.
  • Was appalled by The Patriot Act
  • Am disgusted by Guantanamo Bay
  • Wished he'd been impeached, indicted, and imprisoned for Iraq.

And we thought people who went to "YALE" were supposed to be "intelligent."
You hit that nail on the head, "Big Business."
Everything Bush did was for "Big Business." Nothing for The People.
And don't forget about those pirannhas the "Lobbyists" on "K" street. TOTAL corruption in a race to wrest U.S. Taxpayer Dollars from our congress.
I wonder if Bush will appologise to The Minutemen for calling them "vigilantes" for doing the job (he) should have been doing all along?

Aneirin -> RE: Got something to say about the Bush years ? (3/9/2008 9:17:24 PM)

Have I got something to say about the Bush years, yes, I do, thank F*** they are nearly over, I just hope he does not do anything more that can be considered stupid before he is finally gone.

Sunao -> RE: Got something to say about the Bush years ? (3/9/2008 9:28:42 PM)

Thank goddess we are almost free from this fool. Lets hope the Chinese, Korean, and Japanese don't team up to try to shut up the middle east and U.S.A. Please goddess let the next president fix all bush's problems and make the world love us again.
