I'm a submissive femme dyke (among many other things!) who's just beginning to explore herself and the scene in the North of England.  I've already met many lovely people and who knows, maybe I'lll bump into a big strong woman on my travels.  In the meantime...

You can't have too many friends and bering a newbie I'm sure anyone willing to answer silly questions will be most appreciated.

If soft says you're good news, good news you must be (but why are all the best ones off-limits?).

Welcome to this strange place. Huge numbers of very odd ppl (you will have loads of mails from men who will want to change your preferences - a sense of humour helps). But a significant number of really nice ppl too - esp here in the forums.

Some - like me - are extremely sensible and serious. Others are mere shallow tossers who will flirt with anything in a skirt. Avoid such ppl like the plague. :)

Pop around the posts and it won't take long to make friends. (Then you can ditch soft).

You'll find one or two of them pop up now and again. Strange accents, they don't understand gardens, lifts, pavements, they take life terribly seriously and they don't understand geography.

But surprisingly, some of them are really rather nice. They'll take you into their hearts and make you feel good.

(Please don't tell any of them I told you this - doesn't do to have them get too confident).

Oh really.

Abuse at outset (I'm afraid this sort of unpleasantness can happen at times Cats) is hardly an encouraging intro for the charming young lady. (More charming I notice than wot you are).

And threats? How civilised is that?

And I'm sure I've come cross a phrase - "you and whose army". Sure you're 6'12", yes you're disgustingly hairy, yes you've played rugger and have no manners. But that doesn't make you a dom - style and sophistication coupled with amazing intelligence (remind you of anyone?) are what's needed.

I do apologise Cats - you must be so depressed to realise how claylike are soft's feet.
