Justavixen I don't know what any one elses is made of, cause I haven't gone and picked them up yet, but mines made of cotton/cotton blends I assume. I did call the SPCA and they said human blankets are just fine to use in the kitty cages!

If it's cotton or a cotton blend, that would work good for cage blankies. I asked because something like satin wouldn't absorb if they peed or dumped water on it.

yeah. Satin would probably also shred real easily, cause it seems like it'd be a delicate material. and we know cats love to knead an claw their bedding sometimes.
