In my experiences, even when I am in a kink friendly relationship and not as a slave, something involving BDSM was practiced every day, if not a full scene, there was always something happening at least once a day. Sometimes it was so trivial as discussing what we wanted to do, or just walking by and putting rope around one wrist.

Sceneing/playing/whatever you call it when things get serious and head space is involved, happened as it needed to, sometimes daily...sometimes twice a day, sometimes every three weeks to a month. Sex was almost always kink related though.

When I had a sub it was every time we got together every weekend. So it would be twice a week. Curtanly the only BDSM like activity is makeing toys.

If you mean serving my Master, then every minute of every day that we are together. If you mean sexually then several times a week either in the hot tub or in the bedroom. But i am married to Him.

Yeah..
I practice twice a week too , just because my dom doesn't live in the same town as I do
We barely meet during the week days, but certainly would do it everyday!

Umm, well....practicing alone is rather like eating cardboard. Not very filling and tastes like chicken..err no wait...LOL

When I'm in a relationship...always. but being as it's been a while, practicing only makes me want the real thing more ;(

Hello Doug,

Good question you have here and I would like to hear what others have to say. As for myself I break up the week because of real world bullshit in my way of play..lol

Monday Is for Rope.. we practice Inverted suspension and your typical rope Bondage

Thursday, friday and saturday is whatever I am in the mood for.. 9 out of ten times I would do something off the cuff.. May it be Wax, mummification or just a flogging or whip.

And some days it's just hard core fucking.. a smack across the face with some hair pulling ( this really get's her going..lol)

So my answer is 3-4 days per week

...angel wonders about the 'BDSM things'? Could it be clarified? Because, as a submissive, I am what I am, and serve as such every moment, of everyday. Not to do so would be disrespectful to myself and the people that care for me. (Yikes, is that tooooo deep?*smiles*)

I can't say I really "practice BDSM things". I train and hone my skill by acting upon it but I really wouldn't call that "practicing" as you are actually acting upon it. Only practicing I can even think of really is working on perfectly knot types and furthering my reading and studying of anatomy and psychology.

On this issue, I agree with afmvdp. I don't consider it practicing either.

I think in past experience, as I am without sub at the moment, it all depended on how much time either of us could commit and how close we were in proximity.

Also, I'd like to add that I much prefer quality to quantity. I also don’t feel like falling into a trap where I become submissive to my BDSM relationship, that is to fall some kind of obligation by where I have to be *on* all the time. Perhaps why I'm not one for 24/7 TPE.

I am currently single and so I am not engaging in BDSM in the same manner as I did when I was in relationship obviously. I do make a point to further my education in some manner everyday by reading or having discussions and/or practicing using my toys and tools so I do not get so rusty between scenes. I also have lifestyle friends teach me new things that I am interested and I engage in kinky fun with certain play partners on occasion just to keep the edge off <wink> lolol

I do not have any children to consider and I am not 'in the closet' in the sense that my family and friends have been totally aware of my way of life and kinks for many years so I have the flexibility of being able to incorporate things in to my daily dynamic that other people are often unable to do such as placing the slave in restraints when they are at home and kneeling when they serve me even when 'my family or friends' are around, etc. In terms of actual scenes I cannot say there has ever been an actual pattern where I could say and stick by 3 -5 times per week ect. but I can say that something sexual happens everyday and I forgot how to have vanilla sex years ago so something kink related is always going on during sex lolol I do have to add however that engaging in 'kink' in not my primary focus, on the contrary I view it as 'icing on the cake' not the cake itself.

Just my 2 cents.

I have to agree with Dark Angel here. You clearly did not clarify yourself on what exactly "BDSM things" is. Are you strictly talking about play (meaning rope, chains) or talking the mental aspect as well?

My Dom dresses me daily. Is that play? It is part of our daily routine though. Or are we talking about Sunday mornings when the cuffs come out? What about the morning blow jobs I am ordered to do?
Is that play?

But when we played the dynamic was different. It was exercising the core of the relationship we had created.

So are you asking about play? or practice?

It can be fun being the practice victim...er...I mean volunteer! I've played "crash test dummy" a lot of times, cuz I'm damned near indestructible and I can give reasonably good feedback.

And I agree - the "practice" is definitely different energy than the "play".
