I submitted a photo of myself, taken by me and I have just had the report back that it has been denied due to community standards.Yet I thought to post it as others have similar photos.I do understand there are different people moderating photographs and each has a different perspective, but it is an annoyance when one is allowed and another not. To add, I am a photographer, I am aware of what is decent and what is not for public consumtion, and also how a photograph should be presented. As I see it, my denied photo does not fall into any categories of indecency. What are community standards anyway?

Interesting question Aneirin, I have no idea what communinty standards would be for this site, I would think them to be somewhat liberal for fucksake......but like you said if different moderators look at each one then you run into perception issues(obviously, the law would be in play as well). Hope you solve your dillema-OD

I have seen bare ass ready to be spanked pics here and yet my very tasteful pic of me in artistic shibari with no bits exposed was rejected. I dont get it either.

I guess it is much like the British Board of censors, a constant wavy line as to what is ok and what is not. Perhaps it is a pity pictures on the site that seem to have escaped their attention cannot be brought to their attention, just to show what they let through and why it is causing bother to others.
