sabirah -> feeling desperate (3/11/2008 10:09:15 PM)

Being recently run off from another site, (being stalked and harassed from an ex),
I decided to look around and into other venues of adult dialogue. Asking a few friends for their input, lead me to this site. Of course my ex found me here, and stated " How desperate I am to be here ", (yet he is here too ) along with all of you other  lovely desperate people :smirks:  My question would be, is this a common way of thinking , are we all desperate for wanting to venture out to see what is within our reach, to learn and grow and evolve as humans ?

Not at all. It is a common human instinct, and it is wise to embrace it.

Those who choose to step away from the window out of fear or ignorance (or swallowing the venom of a scourned lover) do so at great cost.

i would not consider people here 'desperate'... we all enjoy the thoughts of other people that have the same mindset. i enjoy the boards, friends and the chat with others that have the same views as i do. (and many that teach me new things or different ways of viewing things)

your ex seems to have not moved on in His life and is trying to make you accept Him back... why not just block Him from messaging you?

i wish you well...

Just consider me desperate   Anything, or place that you can learn, grow, and meet like minded folks is not being desperate.

i'd use the word "passionate", just me. yes, i think subs really want to know exactly what is our limit in all things, and if we will be better for reaching further. i wonder these thoughts. and such is the joy for a Master that keeps you from going too far too fast, but is still there to take every step with you. uht oh, i'm getting mushy[:D]

SteelofUtah -> RE: feeling desperate (3/11/2008 11:41:26 PM)

I wanted to write something elegant.......but alas

Your Ex is a Dick.

Okay as for desperate there were times before I met andi that I felt alone. I could be in a room full of vanilla people and feel alone, but the worst part is I could be at a munch surrounded by people who were supposed to understand me and feel equally alone.

When I met someone who made me feel connected to something I was desperate to get to know them as quickly as I could for fear that if I did not then they would be a figment of my imagination of worse yet repulsed by me.

Desperate is a Harsh word Yes, however to feel alone when you already know you are different and then to continue feeling alone when you are around those who are supposed to be your peers, Yes I can see how desperate would be a word I would use.

Tell the Ass-Monger to go fornicate with his own likeness and when he says "What" say "Go Fuck Yourself"

Sorry I could not be more elegant I am having an odd night tonight.

As Always

Steel

Desperate?  No.  Following an internal calling to grow and evolve is courageous, not desperate.

MissMagnolia -> RE: feeling desperate (3/12/2008 12:44:07 AM)

Yes, I agree with Steel. I want to be eloquent and witty, but all I can muster is to tell your ex to suck my arse.[:)]

On the other hand sabirah, you could tell your ex to suck your arse. Either is fine with me.[:D]

lally3 -> RE: feeling desperate (3/12/2008 3:14:43 AM)

yep im with steel here too.

getting desperate on here can be a real issue, particularly after spending a while investing big emotions into someone and then for it all to go tits up.  the lonlyness and wondering if youre ever going to meet someone sane, never mind compatible can push some people into a real sense of desparation. cos hey, this is important.

personally id block matey, he needs to get a grip.  its over already time to move on.

I would tell him "yes...I AM desperate....desperate to the flush the turd you are down the toilet of life, and find someone more worthy of my submission".

But then, I am not you, nor am I submissive.

Desperate people is what keeps CM going.

RedHotAndSoSexy -> RE: feeling desperate (3/12/2008 5:04:50 AM)

Why is anyone here less desperate to meet than anyone else on the billion other dating/social/networking sites on the web? What a stupid comment. Everyone is desperate in their own small way to connect and find their own place in the sun.

You just don't go around acting like it or telling people they are. Use some judgement.

colouredin -> RE: feeling desperate (3/12/2008 5:44:54 AM)

Depends what we are desperate for, I am personally desperate for some ice cream? though I am sure thats not what he meant.

I am sure that there are people who fulled by their desires become desperate to meet someone but seeing as I am in a relationship thats not why I use this site. I feed off peoples ideas I love it, but I only really use the internet while i am here, when I am with Sir and girlie I just dont, I tend to use the phrase "I use the internet while I wait for life" and I feel i may as well use it in a way that I find productive. Talking to people, reading peoples views and expressing my own makes me more able to sort through my own feelings.

Am I desperate to work learn and grow? well desperate is probably not the right word but I do thrive on it and as we can all learn more about ourselves its something that I will never run short of which is really good.

gee, Steel, I thought that was pretty elegant.

OmegaG -> RE: feeling desperate (3/12/2008 7:00:25 AM)

I would say "No, I'd be with you if I was deperate".

Going to a place where you can meet people and a possible outcome is a compatible relationship isn't being desperate it's being proactive about your life.  Besides, there are alot of people here that aren't searching for a relationship, just like minded people.

And why is he tracking your movements?  Desperate to get you back?

ProlificNeeds -> RE: feeling desperate (3/12/2008 8:48:40 AM)

I'm desperate enough to remain single and shop for the best in any avenue available. I think the better term for those who like to shop-around is choosey, or fussy, not desperate.

Block the fool and just be confident in yourself and what you are looking for.

Daddyslilpookie -> RE: feeling desperate (3/12/2008 9:02:14 AM)

Hello there, I have to be honest with you some people "here" and I am not saying on the message boards but CM itself are desperate and just looking for a lay. I am however just here for the boards. I am human I like to see what other people have to say on the same stuff what my Master and I do and get insight and exchange ideas on how we get make it more better and exciting. Also I get insight on how I can be the best slave I can be for my Master. Just my 2 cents.

sabirah -> RE: feeling desperate (3/12/2008 9:07:18 AM)

::whew::  Thanks for the replies, after re-thinking, over my own thread, I am desperate, so desperate to get away from this man-child. Being in a unhealthy/headgame realtionship, makes me question all things now.(even myself)
As I sit here and try to express, in text all the drama that I  have endured with this particular man, the story would never end. His actions towards me after our break-up have been the most childish and vendictive, the level of deciet he will go to is the most  I have ever witnessed. So as I heal and purge my thoughts, with the help of strangers, and  who share their experiences. I will grow strong and once again find my way.   Thank you all !!

CalifChick -> RE: feeling desperate (3/12/2008 9:09:23 AM)

How does "looking for a lay" equate to "desperate"??? Desperate means "employing extreme measures to avoid frustration".
