Hello, I wanted to try different things for CBT, I am new to it so I don't know much about it. Can someone give me some examples I can try on myself before using it on others? I don't have any equipment though, so basic CBT would be helpful. Thanks for your help. Please mail it to me instead of posting here, thanks again

I don't know how others feel about this sort of request, but it mildly ticks me off.

One of the reasons I got out of my way to try to be informative on message boards is I think for everyone who asks a question there are many others who want the answer.

Besides, if I go to the trouble of writing a post and occasionally doing a bit of research so I can answer it better, I have the feeling that the person asking the question has a obligation to do a bit of work getting the answer.

[Note: this does not apply to people asking me questions in email since they are often giving me personal information to help me answer better.]

If you don't have something positive to say then don't say anything at all. I came here for help not complainers

TROLL You obviously have no idea who you are talking to. John is VERY wise & well respected. If you're just wanting to be a kinky boy this is not the forum. If you are truly wanting to learn then best to allow the thread to inform us all. You never know the things that will make you go hummm in this forum.

19 shoulda known.

I'm still a novice myself. The way I find out things is go to www.google.com and do a net search on them. Lots of good information out there.

Also, have you tried searching for it here on the forums? I'm sure that CBT has been mentioned many times here. Lots of good info on here as well.

Go by yourself a nice vice grip.....and experiment with your nuts in it.....remember.."no pain, no gain!"

As a sidebar to your post calling JohnWarren a complainer, I think you totally misunderstood his reason for not wanting to e-mail you privately, although it was very clear.....You know that commercial "you shouldn't mess with Mother Nature? Well as far as this board is concerned..you kinda just did"

I would suggest a teaspoon of humility, an apology and an attempt to put your best foot forward on your next post, if you truly want input and friendship from this Forum.

Just my .02 Kevin Good luck and play safe.

I am sorry for posting that complaining comment, I didn't mean to offend JohnWarren or anyone else. I am just a straightforward person and I speak my mind, next time I should think before typing. Hopefully this board dies out and no bad blood is given through this board. Have a nice day everyone

I did a very rudimentary Google search for you and you would be amazed at what showed up. The first link in the list is very informative at first glance.

It may be a thought to post this type of question on the Ask a Mistress board? It seems that they have a tad bit more experience in it. I believe there is even a thread (or two) on that subject as well. Just go to Search at the top of the page here and type in CBT, I bet you'll get plenty.

We try, you know, practice makes perfect!!!lol I think some of us practice alot!! You are correct though, I can think of 2 threads on that forum that are relatively recent and should be easy to find. DomLife4Me, if you have trouble finding them, email me on the other side and I will find you links to those threads. Again, (and mean it this time, smiles) welcome to the boards!

Welcome to the Message Boards, DomLife4Me.

I'm a bit at a loss to this question. Your profile lists that you're a 19 yr old "Dominant," with "years" of experience, as well as clearly listing your sexual orienation as "straight." It also states your desire for a "female" submissive. If all of this is correct, and you hope to enjoy CBT with your submissive, you might want to revise your profile to also indicate your proclivity toward men. Just a suggestion.

K

Finally someone asks that, I want to learn CBT for myself. I am into pain as a hobby, not much for the lifestyle. As for my age, I know I am young but I have learned from all types of Doms, Dommes, Mistresses and even submissives. I was in the "shoes" of both a submissive and a Dom to learn how each thinks like and what to expect from each side. As some of you saw, my age is still full of ignorance. I didn't mean to be rude before, but like most people, I am learning how to act towards others. I know I have improved but still it isn't enough. Thanks for all the useful postings
