last night i went to a friends bbq/play party. just a general end of summer bash. i've always been very interested in rope work, and i've been learning little things as i go. mostly picking stuff up from other players who i admire. but i'd never done a suspension.
can't say that anymore. i got to suspend not, one, not two, but three party goers over the course of the night. wow!!! all three had never been suspended before, and i felt so honored that they would trust me to be their frist time. i had an amazing support team who double checked my knots, offered sugestions when i got stuck, and helped hoist their legs. by the last one, i did it compleatly by myself.
i'm hoping to get the pics fromn the night soon so i can post one or two. but right now i'm still basking in the afterglow and just doin' my happy dance.
