I'm in the preliminary research stages of my next book and I'd love to get some input from the community.
If you'd like to participate, please click HERE.
You have to register to take the survey, but please know that since the survey is both owned and hosted by DV8 Publishing your information will not be used for any reason other than to contact you to clarify your input on the survey.

Thanks for your assistance. Please feel free to send this notice to anyone you think might be interested in participating in the survey.

Why do you need names and addresses? What guarantees of privacy are you offering? Why can this not be done without giving away information we are not comfortable sharing?

tsatske -> RE: Seeking Community Input (3/12/2008 10:23:18 AM)

Although it did ask for names, it asked only for edress, not a street address. Perhaps you could try entering a psydonym that you are comfortable with in 'names' ?

Dnomyar -> RE: Seeking Community Input (3/12/2008 10:59:20 AM)

Mmmm good way to put a e mail list that you can sell.

SteelofUtah -> RE: Seeking Community Input (3/12/2008 11:09:35 AM)

I filled it out.

Yes the company is Legit and that was verified by my friends in the community.

I Used Steel and M. as first and Last name.

No one HAS to fill it out she was offering you a chance to be a part of a functional book on Power Exchanges.

The e-mail address was a little off putting but like I don't get enough spam already. What is another few that I delete without reading anyway. Not to mention E-Mails that come back with Steel as the name they are trying to sell something too get reported to the BBB anyway.

Some people are just FAR too suspicious. Just look up the company to see if it is legit or not contact a Kink Book Publisher the two I called knew this company.

The only thing I am curious about is if they are WRITING the book or just Gathering Information for someon else to write the book.

Eitherway it is an Opinion Survey Nothing that gets asked is damaging except for the fact that you know what a Power exchange is and it asks if you Identify as a Dom or a Sub however there is a third answer which denies either.

I understand being safe but these fears border on paranoid.

As Always

Steel

I tried.. but most of the questions didn't apply to me and my partner.

sweetwenchie -> RE: Seeking Community Input (3/12/2008 11:23:03 AM)

i tried too, even asked my pocket rocket to help me with the responses, but he wasn't talking.  [;)]

Perhaps when i get home i can finish it with  help from my favorite martian.

The only information I request is a name and an email address. The guarantee is I'm the owner, operator and host of the survey and I said I wouldn't do anything with the information. :)

shareinnc -> RE: Seeking Community Input (3/12/2008 2:29:24 PM)

Since I'm the one in charge and there are no other people involved I say it isn't for that purpose. I really just want your input and a way to reach you in case I have a question about your submission. If you don't want to participate, please feel free to not do so. If you do, rest easy that I won't do anything with your information. Period. End of story. No, really. I mean it. I'm the only person with the password. Seriously.

Thank you Steel. I appreciate your help :).

Yes, I'm doing the research for my own book. It's somewhere down the line in my list of ideas. I think probably behind a negotiation handbook and definitely behind A Day in the Life of a Consensual Slave.

I'd love to know which booksellers you talked with LOL :). I've sent out feelers to book sellers within the community but so far only Amazon and B&N seem to be interested in carrying my books. I'd rather work directly within the community.

Thanks again!

Considering that Greenery Press charges half what you charge and their books are written by talented authors with extensive experience plus the cost of books like Midori's, yours are vastly overpriced and poorly written based on what I could gather from the website.

AND you want us to do the work for you plus you are asking for donations?

You remind me of my other favorite CM self-promoter, but at least she only gives out her CDs for free.
