Wow - hello everyone, you are an interesting group of folks! So happy to have found a place to exchange experiences and more importantly for this novice, learn something and hopefully meet others with same interests. I live in an urban area but for a number of reasons am a bit reluctant to "come out" locally. Is anyone else a bit nervous but still being drawn by - I don't even know what to call it - the preferences/the life/making this a part of one's lifestyle, the activities, sharing the "kinkiness" ? - Sue

Welcome to the insanity, Sue. AS a novice, a few jitters about coming out are pretty normal. Some people never do even though they are involved. Just do what feels right, and have fun with it. DV

Welcome to the forums! For some it is very difficult to come out. I've been in the life for 24 years, and still cannot come out totally due to my profession and high profile in my community. Us more experienced were once in your shoes too...nervous in some sort of way and it's only natural. you will find others here I am sure, nearly the same as you. I do live the life full time along with my 2 slave girls. They perhaps could shed more light on preferences and such. As long as you remain teachable and enjoy yourself, you'll be just fine. Verd
