first...daylight saving time is a month earlier.... 2ndly...easter is a month earlier....almost right after march break...man imagine if you had that many holidays in the same month when going to school!!! KIDS ARE SO DAMN LUCKY THESE DAYS. what else is changed???? will christmas be in november? right after thanksgiving??? HMMMM MORE FOOTBALL!!!!

It is just how the lunar calender fell this year. It happens every so often. Especially since the changes that you are noting are a reflection of the lunar calender. Easter takes place the Sunday after the first full moon after March 21. Easter took place in March in 2005, also.

The downside is that if your holidays run from April to March you have less bank holidays, which makes a psychological difference.
