i hate it when i can't get the girl in the drive thru at CVS to understand that NO i will NOT come inside to wait for my prescription. The anti-nausea med she is filling is for the 13yr old monster sitting next to me that just vomited all over himself and his clothing and had an accident in his pants and i will NOT subject him, myself or the other customers in the store to having him INSIDE the store!!!!!! That's what i said. i told her i'd go back to the end of the line. She insisted i come inside, so i sat at the window until the pharmacist finally came over. The girl was crying when i left. Yeah, Yeah, i'm a bitch....that's not news.

I hate that about an hour ago, I FINALLY heard from my buddy down in L.A. ... when I've basically already told all the lovely people who were gonna help to stand down... when it's too damned late for my hostess to find a sitter for her 5 yr old dynamo. Oh well. Guess I'll have to come back to CA!! (oh, it turns out his company got an emergency call from a client -government thing- so he was in a no-phone zone for several days until the emergencey was resolved)
