i have just recently (this morning) started reading the forums and Yyou Aall seem to be very real and honest Ppeople. here's my dilema(sp?): i refer to myself as a slave as there really is no 'area' that i fit. by that i mean, my last "Master" referred to me as 'pig'. i was never sure what exactly that meant other than He would say i was just a piece of meat, but i had no defined rules to follow and was never collared (i'm guessing as a pig, that was an honor i was not entitled to. i honestly am not sure where, if at all, i fit anywhere. lol hell, i'm not even sure what i'm looking for here, other than to wonder if there are others that are as confused as i am.

None of us is exactly alike eachother, we all have vastly different desires, perspectives and ideals.

And yet you'd be VERY VERY VERY hard pressed to find a single experience, thought, emotionl, idea that at least a dozen other people here haven't had.

Trust me, at age 11 I thought I was the smartest chick alive when I asked myself "If god is all powerful, does that mean he can become not-god?" Only to find out that some ancient people thousands of years ago had already worn that path well down before me.

Still, for an 11 yo that was pretty cool stuff.

Use the resources you have here to share and become who you want to be. Don't worry so much about how to categorize it, everyone will just tell you that you're wrong anyway.

Ask yourself what your turn-ons are. Did you get aroused being treated like a piece of meat? Or do you want a collar? I bought a collar for myself and wear it at home when I want to get in touch with that part of me. Start with basics. Core stuff that you like.

Hello There,
There are as many pet names for the bottom/sub/slaves that submit to a top/Dom/Master as stars in the sky.
The question to me would be more what do I like, enjoy & want more than what name I'm called or where I fit in.
If something is comfortable and pleasurable for you then it's right for you. If you feel like something's missing it may very well be missing and not your cup of tea. I'd advise you to think about who you think you are, what you desire, and what you want to consider yourself to be. For me it's not about if I fit into someone elses ideals of perfect, but how close to my path I choose for myself I am. No two people will have exactly the same desires, kinks, choices or experiences, you just have to find ones that make you feel happy & whole that count for you.

Hi! You are getting some good advice. I try not to get too hung up on the titles: bottom, sub, slave, because everyone defines them differently. As I've said before, the beauty of the lifestyle is it's uniqueness between 2 (or more) people. Nothing wrong with being a piece of meat either. What Suzanne said "oink oink" It's all good. Or at least that's what they keep telling me......

Angelic, Personally I've always liked the idea of being somewhat of a Misfit, they got their own Island where they could play without the so called perfect Toy's poking fun of them! But for now? . . breath, talk to others, read . . figure what works for you like the others have said.
Just remember titles are what you make of them...............

Personally, I'd rather be considered a misfit than feel misplaced in life. You know what you like and want, so you are not misplaced. Pig may sound deragatory to some, but it may have been your Master's favorite Pet and making bacon with you his favorite act.

I heard male pigs have cork screw cocks, much like their tails and can screw long and often, so perhaps we all tend to underestimate the real beauty of the Pig.

Now, I'm off to lunch for a bite of ham, but wish you well in finding your niche here!

Wonderful point, Fastlane, and I totally agree. I have been somewhat of a misfit all My life. Always a little wilder... hair a little longer... tattooed and pierced... music too loud...girls too fast. But it was who I am. Looking back now, would I have been happy to appease the ones who said to Me, "Misfit"? No, I would have always longed to taste and adventure life on My own terms.

Concerning your role, take your time and 'feel it out' no pun intended. Experiment and sample the various roles. If you must wear any label, new friend, choose that label yourself. Afterall, you are the only one living in your skin. :)

Welcome to the forums : ) You can and should define yourself prior to getting into a relationship. And I think it's great that you're taking the time to try and do that. I'm sure that if you honestly assess your last relationship, you can form a clear idea of what you want in the next. Ophelia

if i were you i would not worry about a label. After all a lot of prople thinks preple into BDSM are all misfits. What is "normal" anyway? We all have decide what the right path is for us and follow it.

and i'm getting ready in about 20 mins. to meet him as i demanded (yes i demanded) a face to face "Wwe are done" rather than a phone call. i deserve it after 4 years of well... i deserve it.

Hello wolf,
Just my take on it, but it seems (at least to me) like she likes her pet name, but was checking to be sure it didn't make her strange. No one mentioned his nickname he bestowed on her had to do with any weight issues. She'd said the fact she was to be his piece of meat gave her the title. I didn't get the feeling her guy doesn't think she's a decent human being because she's a little large, just that she was to be used as warm meat when he wants it.
