i love it that a friend of mine let me pray for her last night...she is pregnant, her doctor put her on bedrest, and her employer "lost" her short term disability paperwork for three weeks. Yesterday, she got a "3 day notice" slip on her door....and she had no rent money. The money i would've given her wouldn't have been enough to pay rent. (frikkin' recession and unlucky Powerball tickets[image]http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m23.gif[/image]) All i could give her was words of encouragement, and a heartfelt prayer for help. So i prayed, and asked for a miracle.

Today, someone gave her a check for the rent in total. [sm=banana.gif]

I love it that I was able to help a friend today whose husband is in the hospital.  She wanted to go visit him for as much time as she could, so Thing 2 and I went to her house with chicken nuggets and french fries and nothing but time.  Thing 2, or the Pied Piper as I like to call her, watched the three kids, while I cleaned her house for the next 4 hours.  Just in case things were not "pristine" when she got home (her in-laws came and took over after I was finished cleaning), I took pics and sent them to her cell phone.  [:D]  She was soooo grateful and I was more than happy to do it.  Having 3 crumbsnatchers under foot and a hubby in the hospital doesn't leave much time for housework.  (Since I couldn't help her any other way, I thought she might like this, and she did.)

I love that I rewarded Thing 2 and myself with dinner and a movie (that we are about to watch).

I love that she is able to learn that this is what you do when friends need help.  [:)]

I love it when I got to do something good for a whole lot of people... I hate it that they will likely never know my identity.  I want to jump up and down (figuratively speaking) and say, "Isn't it great?!?! Isn't it great!?!" 

Sigh.  "Secret benefactor" is something I could never aspire to.

...I already found a landlord in a previous colleague in case I go ahead with my date and would move into a houseshare in may until I would relocate (so no hassle to look around at many stupid rooms and landlords where you don't know how they are until you would be living with them).

...my cat is smart enough to vomit onto a plastic bag on my floor...made it easy to clean it up [:)]

...I get a call to be asked if I can do a night shift tonight...and I can [:)]

...I had a lengthy great chat with my potential Master [:)]

...after some moron emails yesterday I receive two replies from people I was looking forward to receive a reply [:D]

I love it when Sir and I had to go to his cardiologist today because he has been having chest pain and they gave him another stress test and his BP was only 120 over 80 and they said it was "just" arrhythmia and nothing to really worry about right now, even though I was a big goober and cried in the office when they said that because I am a worrier, so that was embarrassing a bit but I don't care.

I love that after he was so relieved we went shopping and he bought himself 4 new shirts and then he bought me a gorgeous new coat and a beautiful bracelet, I am going to try and post the pics, bear with me!

Okay that looks like the coat worked, and also the gorgeous scarf, here comes the bracelet, it is the platinum one with the diamond circles on the top of my wrist. Yes he spoils me, I know, I don't mean to sound braggy I do everything I can for him and I give up on telling him no, he just does it anyway. [:)]. I love him and not for that, but it sure is different than the ex-husband that appreciated nothing. Dreams do come true.....ok enough mush!! lol.
