I have often wondered if there are any Dominant Females (on active duty or family members), who have managed to comfortably meet their natural desires as Dominant Women and still find satisfaction in being part of the culture of the military with its regimentation, protocols, and rituals? What have been the struggles and has it been difficult to make contact with military submissives who share the culture?

I can't speak to the part of being a fem dom in the military, but I know for certain that some of my most favorite subs that have ever suffered at my hand have been active or former military. They know how to snap to attention, how to carry themselves, they understand protocols and rituals and they have an innate sense of protectiveness. And, I find that most of them are terribly masochistic...especially those SEALS and Marines. I have yet to reinact a Crucible for a certain former marine who is chasing my skirts....

I suppose it has quite alot to do with how we are trained with respect for authority and protocol. I have noticed a fair number of Dominant Men with military association or history - regrettably just haven't seen the numbers of Women. My guess is it is the statistics of only recently larger numbers of women entering and staying.

I'm not active duty, Myself. I am a military wife, who's husband is active duty. My collared submissive is also military. Yes, the two worlds can mix. It's just a situation where that part has to be kept very low key. I've said this on other posts. It really falls under the 'don't ask, don't tell' rule. In other words, I can leave marks on My sub, but it's usually a good idea to put them in places that are covered by the uniform (pt) that shows skin. Many protocols and rank type structures of the military easily translate to the similar ones in the lifestyle. It's kind of like a cheat card. Oddly enough, for quite a while, I had no desire to take any sub who was active duty, because of Mistress Military having more control over the sub's life than I do. Well, I changed My mind about that. I'm proud of both My husband and My boy. Around here, the running joke is that I'm Household Six. In other words, I'm in charge.

My collection of the fondest memories in life are based being the squad leader of 15-20 men while I was in the Army. Being a part of the military, with all of the above in place taught me to be very disciplined, structured, commanding and demanding when I need to be. Expectations were high and were met by me and my squad. Those that were submissive and the vanilla men grew to respect me and my authority over them and it wasn't soley based on my rank but because they knew me to be fair, strict, but able to let my hair down and party with them. The submissive men, of course did far better than the vanilla, when it came to getting things done right the first time around. It was in the Army that I began to grow in the lifestyle thanks to a tact sgt that saw the "Domme" in me. (That's another story). When I attended the leadership academies, each time I was placed in the ISG position because of my "leadership abilities". That's what the unknowing saw but tact sgt at one, saw something else. Yes, he was in the lifestyle...Dom. I still do some things the "military" way. Strict... stern... but fair, with high expectations... little tolerance for BS or excuses for why things didn't get done according to my specs, not to mention the discipline techniques, and "positioning". wink I didn't have a problem at all. The military is truly paradise for a dominante woman! BTW---I was a Military Police Officer at a time when there were very few women in that field. Talk about fun!!!!!!! *Faye*

My first long term relationship was with a woman who joined the Marines. She was introduced to this life by me, and when she went to a ten week training program for officers, she met another lieutenant who was very submissive to her. At her behest, he called his fiance and broke up with her while she listened to the conversation. She demanded his faithfulness even though he was aware that she had a guy back home. She also demanded mone and other things of him.

I am in the military and new to the life style. I guess im a switch but i lean toward sub. Im not sure how many others there are like me. but i do know i want to be dominated

I've heard many Dommes mention that submissives with military experience do quite well as they are by training obsequious, malleable, and tractable.

That's not a generalization ...so don't get your shorts in a wad if you are a Dom Marine. I won't pretend those I've known would represent the USMC as a whole ... I'm just speaking of all the Marine's I've known ... in & out of the 'scene.' But it does appear that the USMC breaks 'em down well in their training. OR, like my slave, she joined the USMC to find something bigger & tougher to control her but didn't find it. She learned how to game the Corps and didn't find anyone who could control her till she came to me. Being a DI is just a role ... and my slave could play it to the hilt with others. I once saw her at a meeting of retired marines & the chairman couldn't get people to shut up & pay attention. But my slave got easily 200 USMC officers to snap to ... while she was seated in her wheelchair. And she could back 90% of the Doms we knew across the room with her boney finger in their chest if she got her dander up. It was a role. Oh yeah, and her best friend ... USMC Shore Patrol was also sub to me ... but everyone else knew her as a Leather Dyke. But, in my limited 35 yr experience, I'd think one could more easily find a Dom in any police force than in the military. They don't go thru nearly the same amount of brainwashing. Just my opinion based upon what I've seen over the decades. YMMV

i came across a militry Domme and being an active military member myself took to her orders quite well but then she moved on and was left high and dry. are ther many Military Dommes here?...
