Dear Poseur, I would like to know, how do you know if someone is kinky or vanilla. Is there some book of standards? What happens if you don't follow the rules, do the BDSM police come and knock on your door? OR does someone else in the BDSM drop a quarter on your ass. I find it very entertaining how some people actually point the BDSM stick at others. Kinda of almost reminds me of the lunch tables we all had in high school. Oh, there are books and books and books. I choose not to read....I have better things to do with my time like....welll....I don't have to tell YOU what my time is better spent doing. There are those in the community that might look to set the BDSMers apart. Fact of the matter is (and it proves itself on these boards) this is very much like high school look on these boards. It's not too difficult to find the cliques. Generally people tend to flock to the "in crowd"....people that SEEM to know what is going on or how to do things. But in reality, this is a state of mind there is no general right or wrong way to do it. Now something may or may not work for you specifically but if it doesn't work try something else. This is not an absolute area. What I do for you drives you insane. For others it may not....that doesn't make me any less of a Dom than someone else. I just know how to push your buttons.
I am done with this as I really REALLY don't want to take my self so seriously.
