I could name several that post here on a regular basis....................... [:)] But I won't.
 
Of course there are liberals that believe, and Dems like myself that believe. But there are significant chunks of the left that dismiss religion, especially Christianity.

Here is my outsider's point of view; those from the left who dismiss Christianity have come to despise that particular religion because of the bible bashing by the extreme Christian right. It's completely off putting. Especially when they brandish the Bible as if it were universal truth. You must admit that it's not very tolerant of others, to try and make policies out of a book.

Out of intolerance grows more intolerance; and I'm afraid the Christian right in America is one of the most intolerant group of people one can find.

I'd also like to add that in other countries, nobody gives a toss about Christianity, simply because Christians elsewhere don't use their religion as a means to garner political power.

...thanks for that...although i was really hoping for dupeddom to respond, because the next question is how many times the NT condemns usury (the lending or borrowing of money at interest) and whether or not duped has an interest paying bank account.
