....im not alarmed by this. i am concerned tho over the graphics, the "comentary" which is packaged to be "no spin news" but is not news. it is commentary. so obtuse if is morphing into thought control, or hypnosis- pick a word. meanwhile while the masses are razzledand dazzled by fireworks- [patriotic or glitsy hollywood, or bible hour] the 'other"hand picks the pocket.

Most cultures and peoples have a grubby little corner of their culture in which they think god has blessed them or they are the chosen ones or superior for some reason.

Its a corner called stupidity.

As if a god that is supposed to have created the universe really gives a damn about some stupid little group of people that have an inferiority complex.

Everyone pretty much agrees on that we ARE blessed. the riddle is on the "humbleness" of it. the deserving of it.

That humbleness, is not at the level it should be by any means. What I see is people in church every sunday, praying for less fortunate people and contributing their bounty to help others, donating their time to help the needy. Unfortunately, others view church going people and their faith in god, as the problem and not the solution. What I hear in churches is forgive your enemies, love your brothers, give what you can to the needy.

My neighbors are gay, I think that their lifestyle is immoral and I am not sure if I would want either of them teaching my children. I am also compelled to "love thy neighbor" so when they need something, I am there to help. I cannot judge if they will go to heaven, or if god like them or dislikes them but I can make a judgement of how I want them interacting with my kids.

do you really think that gay = paedophile?

Are you seriously saying that Left leaning folks are unable to read this with out getting queasy?   Thier delicate little constitutions can't handle it? No where do they say what owner59 alledges that they do,

Is that a lie or an error on your part owner59? It is certainly and verifyably not true. I guess this will get me in trouble again, but come on. Its not true. owner59 knows its not true, he is a smart guy. .

They ask a question. Its over the top, but whatever. I am on record several times on these board saying that I would vote for Hillary over Huckabee, who was the landslide winner of this event.   More importantly Mc Cain did not even attend the event.

To compare this to preaching "GOD DAMN AMERICA!" from a tax sheltered pulpit, is a huge reach.

But then the Democrats never could figure out why Willie Horton or the Swift Boats mattered either...

gays in education is -- hmm. the US is in trouble per what passes as an education. the public school are a babysitting service. the teacher is so busy trying to maintain order- that no teaching goes on.
