May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

We're mourning the "snakes" their saint ran out of Ireland.

LadyRainfire -> RE: Happy St Patricks Day (3/17/2008 9:43:28 AM)

Eating a traditional meal here of corned beef, cabbage and red potatoes here. I'll have a beer to wash it all down. Nothing much else - I have a monster to go pick up later today from his trip to Washington.

Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone! Hugs to those I know!

naw, just answering the question. no need to debate the issue. it is what it is, and it works for people, so why take away the oppertunity for pinching people not wearing green?[:)]if we got really nit-picky on the issue, than someone would try and take the Easter Bunny away from little Christian UM's and that would be a sad thing.

domahpet -> RE: Happy St Patricks Day (3/17/2008 10:05:45 AM)

hehe, pinching i love!
the easter bunny scares the hell outta me!
no bunnies at my house ;)!

chaosforge -> RE: Happy St Patricks Day (3/17/2008 10:06:17 AM)

Let me try again, I'm drinking Mnt. Dew (it's green) and watching The Simpsons. Neither of us may pinch the other, as we both have tats with green ink, therefore are always weraing green. Hoping no one at work do anything too bad to night...

Arpig -> RE: Happy St Patricks Day (3/17/2008 11:51:17 AM)

Working...and no $ for a pint of the good stuff either[:(]

softness -> RE: Happy St Patricks Day (3/17/2008 12:03:13 PM)

we all came to work wearing as much green as possible ... £5 to the person wearing the most green without rousing suspicion from the kids

the winner was wearing 14 green things ... and no one commented ... dopey kids

divi -> RE: Happy St Patricks Day (3/17/2008 12:13:05 PM)

I need some green clothing lol.... I have nothing green dammit !

Lashra -> RE: Happy St Patricks Day (3/17/2008 1:00:50 PM)

Took my kid to Starbucks (I call it Staryucks [:'(]) and got her a Frapachino that had green whipped cream on the top. She was happy, thats the extent of our celebrating. My sub is Irish though and he is going out for a few green beers with his brothers.

According to the local news, the world's third biggest St Patrick's day parade is in Birmingham, about 20 miles from me. The only ones larger are Dublin's and New York's. I didnt go - I look awful in green, unless its camos.
