The main thing that I look for is attitude. I enjoy someone who is willing but not slobbering on me, who is willing to share their desires but not present them as a list of demands, and who shows both a general respect and a sense of humor. I like to see that someone takes good care of themselves - a neat appearance. After that looks are a plus, but definitely not the main thing that I am interested in.

Yes and no. Looks are not normally my main interest, but it also matters what type of service/use I want to get out of them. And it's just plain nice to have someone you interact with not make your eyes bleed whenever you look at them -whatever the requirements are for that for you. I only look for a very specific height or build or something if I've a very specific scene in mind where it matters. Otherwise, our compatibility in personalities, desires and kinks are priority.

Attitude, devotion, sense of humor, dependability, intelligence, etc are my primary focus... I find a wide variety of people physically attractive, but it has not as much to do whith their physical appearance as much as the inital qualities I mentioned. I love it when the beauty within becomes outwardly beautiful...a bad attitude can render even the most physically handsome/beautiful people ugly.[;)]

As with any relationship, it is often a physical attraction that makes one stop and look more closely at the person. In the long run, good looking males are pretty much like good looking females, they tend to be self centered, vain and high maintenance. (YES! I know that's just a stereotype and there are many exceptions) In the long run, intelligence and willingness to serve are far more important.

I would think just like in Nilla relationships people are attracted to people they deem worthy and wonderful for so many different reasons and gosh let's not forget pheromones . With that I would say I think everyone in each position seeks traits they are attracted to in their partners..

I like beauties as much as anyone, but I will choose for character first. The way a man carries himself, his expression, the way he speaks and behaves, all are far more important and will KEEP my attention regardless of physical traits. Essentially, as long as he is clean and presentable, the rest is a bonus!

haha khem has given me free online dominating session here.. i know its look and not luk and its what not wat.. but even if i use luk or wat then why do you feel offended you are asking me to follow the standards of a language which is of the lowest standard in the world? you dont write what you speak dont speak wat you write.. have only five vowels.. you are not even able to pronounce anything properly which is not english.. english is popular not because of its superiority but because english government looted and occupied each and every corner of the world.. indians have a lot better english than you..leave my case..i am not good at english ..i can give a you enough lecture and even on the origins of english language..but ill suggest you too refer to sir william jones

yeah, ok, then why is it every time I call tech support, I get someone that cant speak english worth a damn (and 99% of the time theyre indian)? I seriously dispise people who think that theyre better than someone because theyre from a certain country or are a certain race.

I look at the overall picture. But being morbidly obese will just make me feel ill-no matter what the rest is like. I can't get past it-I guess it's a gut level repulsion.

When I was married, I constantly heard jokes about Americans butchering the queen's english. I hated that because it was insulting, and we here in "the colonies" (now a first world country), really do not care about so-called "proper" english spoken by good old queen Lizzie herself. You are new, as you have said, and perhaps you do not understand that messages are the only things we have to judge a person on at times, if we do not know the person in the real world. Most Dommes that I know are very picky about posts, spelling, use of slang, and all other sorts of little things that one can gather from the writings of a stranger on a board. I, as well as others on here, know that proper spelling and good grammar are important because they show intelligence (to some degree) and thoughtfulness in what the person is saying. So, what you write and how you write it will make a huge impact on how others respond to you here. Also, there are many people who post on here who are from England itself, and few of them have made ugly comments about American english as you did above. Please be respectful if you want others to respect you. Thank you, DRH ~ as to the original question ~ Physical features of a submissive are not as important as the intelligence and heart of the person. Looks may attract me, but the personality will keep my interest beyond a casual glance.
