Whenever I am fed up I say "crap sandwhich". It makes me giggle and gives me just the right amount of venting!

my Master/Daddy has some expression with that....something about "Say no to the shit sandwhich" (if life is trying to feed you one, do you really want it? Then don't take the shit sandwhich!")

Lynnxz -> RE: Profanity... (3/18/2008 4:33:32 PM)

O dear. I curse wayy more than I should.

My favorite, I think, is  "Slut-bucket" I had a Domme call me that once, and couldn't stop giggling.

I gotta ask... Profanity: Do you love it, hate it, use it, or play with it? How much or how little? Do you use the big 'bad' words, or do you use sweet words strung together obscenely? Do you use it to provoke specific emotions, or is it your main tongue of choice?

I think they are strong intense words, like "love" and should be used in strong intense contexts.  I definitely get put off by people who cuss casually, frequently and know no other reasonable adjectives or expressions to use.  It's as bas as saying "Like" before every sentence.

Scenes are definitely strong intense situations and I definitely enjoy using them in such contexts.

MissLily -> RE: Profanity... (3/18/2008 4:48:24 PM)

I rarelly swear in public. And when I do, peoples eyes get bigger. I love it, I find it sooo funny.

Sometimes I'll use profanities when playing (on your knees, bitch!), but I prefer use double meaning words and things like that. Make something really vulgar from something that is not at first. Now THAT's a lot of fun!

Miss Lily

LadyHathor -> RE: Profanity... (3/18/2008 4:51:58 PM)

I hate it, I find it vile and lowly--I don't use it, I won't have a slave who does and I will never tolerate any of those "woman" words used to Me or against Me--the past one who did is now a dental school poster child.

Arrrchibald -> RE: Profanity... (3/18/2008 5:11:08 PM)

I hate when people use "fucking" to mean "really."  But that's just about my only peeve with profanity.

Other than that, I find sterilized euphamisms much more offensive than any vulgarity.

CalifChick -> RE: Profanity... (3/18/2008 5:22:08 PM)

I don't swear much (well, okay, except here dammit), because of my impressionable youngsters.  "Talking dirty" is a whole different subject.

SubbieOnWheels -> RE: Profanity... (3/18/2008 5:53:30 PM)

~FR~

I dislike the F-word being used as an adjective, an adverb, a noun, and almost every other part of speech. It has a definition, and if you use that strict definition everytime you hear someone using the word, it becomes ALMOST humorous. It is certainly ridiculous. "I'm going to take my intercoursing fist and intercoursing slam it into your intercoursing face."

OTOH I love using it in its original meaning: "Are you going to come over, flog the snot out of me, and f*ck my a**?" Oh, yes - the A-word. That has a couple of meanings, one of wich is in the Bible. If I call someone by that name, they can take their choice of what I mean. (Did you ever wonder why that character who was given the head of an ass was named Bottom?)

subsnow -> RE: Profanity... (3/18/2008 6:10:08 PM)

I can't stand cursing!!! You'll never hear it coming from me unless I'm REALLY upset and I hate hearing it from other people...unless it's coming from my boyfriend during sex. That turns me on because it means he's really enjoying himself.

Tigrita -> RE: Profanity... (3/18/2008 6:24:46 PM)

I'm a bit of a potty mouth in general, and I love dirty talk at play time.  The B word, C word, S word all get me hot and bothered, same for nasty words for naughty parts.  Love it all.

thickerdenwater -> RE: Profanity... (3/18/2008 6:41:59 PM)

Profanity is a very versitile part of our language, or any language for that matter. It can evoke any number of emotions. I myself, use it to no end. The only time I dont is around young children or older people. Mostly, though, I use it the emphasize a point Im making, and with certain inflections and tones, you can use it to wield a very attractive (attractive to the point being made, not likeable) weapon to clarify or puntcuate said topic. Though, when doing this, body language is very important.

Urza -> RE: Profanity... (3/18/2008 6:44:37 PM)

I wouldn't use profanities in scene, as it could wind up the Domme.

Outside of the D/s scene and in work it's F this a C that! lol

LadyHugs -> RE: Profanity... (3/18/2008 6:53:22 PM)

Dear closetmonkey, Ladies and Gentlemen;

I personally dislike profanity.  I don't find it attractive when most individuals of teens or younger use it and really do not know the root of the word but, it is an every day language.

I don't think a person is 'stuck up' or 'better than thou' if they are profanity free.  To me, it means they are making an effort to be stubborn against being a 'one in a crowd' fad and or speaking fad.  With the verbal use of profanity being so common place, I think the shock value is gone.  To speak profanity free is now a 'shock value.  I find it refreshing.

I find myself really bored with every day language with profanity peppered into the conversation.

Respectfully submitted,
Lady Hugs

BBWnNC72 -> RE: Profanity... (3/18/2008 6:55:13 PM)

i find myself cussing quite a bit, but i do try to curb it around the UMs.  i hear my daughter in her room sometimes on her phone cussing up a storm, i don't say much because at that age i did the same thing. However, i do say something if she is out of her room and cussing though.
Now, when my Dominant talks dirty to me and calls me nasty little names and reminds me that i am His slut, that just makes me plain hot and wet. [:)]

greenearth21 -> RE: Profanity... (3/18/2008 6:55:38 PM)

My friends actually laugh at me when i'm heated because i use words that are way to proper when I need to get real with it.  I have gotten into some arguments (which i absolutely hate...debates are different) and the other person was throwing all dirty words and I was using terms such as imbecille...and my friends just started laughing.  They say that I use smart insults instead of nasty ones.  But i'm no saint.  I still prefer not to curse and I can say that I dont do alot.  The only term i use often is hell which sometimes i say hades....I have a little guy around so I have to watch my mouth...and its just not proper.  Unless, as most already stated, it is used to describe a feeling.  I find it to be a huge turn off when a guy/male uses the f word or any for that matter too losely.  Shows lack of intellect/vocabulary in my mind.

I agree! A man who wants to use all kinds of profanity doesn't have a chance of spending time with me and he does come across as not having adequate brain  power.

chamberqueen -> RE: Profanity... (3/18/2008 7:26:37 PM)

My daddy and I both enjoy it when I beg him to f*** me.  In our normal conversation I tend to steer clear of it.
