.....the death of Arthur C Clarke, and the ensuing thread, has made me wonder how many here have read much Ian Watson? He has a couple of intrguing themes that he returns to, i'd go as far as to suggest he's a better, english first language Stanislaw Lem......but i'm intrigued as to what others think....

.....oh, and the thread title is a sort of amalgam of the titles of four of his books.
