ORIGINAL: LuckyAlbatross In my head the essence is that a puppy is more of a spoiled pet who gets to romp around occasionally, while a human dog becomes that dog and is expected to do all the dog things- work, go away, go outside to use the bathroom, etc. Pretty much what I was thinking. My experiences with puppy play have been more playful. Fun exercises in sit, heel, catch the ball, fetch, etc. He is more playful, too, like one would be while playing with a puppy. In human dog experiences, it's not so "playful." I'm eating, drinking out of a bowl on a more serious note. I might actually have to sleep with his dogs. I'll get a more serious pat on the head for a job well done. He threatened recently to give me dog biscuits as "treats" and I begged if they can at least be vegitarian, which made him laugh (he thought that was hilarious for some reason!). So I went to the store that day and got raw hide chews, in a good faith effort that I would indeed eat them if he chose to feed them to me. He patted my head and said he didn't really intend to do that. So I gave them to my cousin's dog. :) Whew!
