DUH!  Of course we are!
I am curvy and I am the smartest woman I know.. (Besides LA  :)  )

I always say modesty is my biggest defect [:D] .

I think there is a differance between intelligence and knowledge. When you look at a sterotypical nerd (male or female) they tend to be a bit aqward looking, I always said that I had to learn stuff because I had nothing else to fall back on, I dont think that people of a physical body shape or appearance are naturally more attractive I think that situations can inspire a greater desire to learn. I was a TOTAL nerd at school, teachers pet and all that jazz because I wasnt one of the 'cool pretty girls' that everyone wanted to hang out with so if i didnt pay attention to the teacher i wouldnt have been passing notes or giggling I would have just been sitting there bored. But this may read like I am saying that curvy women are unattractive and thats totally not what I mean. I do know that often women who are curvy start off feeling a bit aqward at school, I got hips and boobs before everyone else and that was equated to being fat more than anything else.

Well, I was and remain a serious nerd, and I don't think I was ever awkward in the way I handled myself... but maybe it's that I'm exceptional.

And modest.

Me and my nerdy friends were all a bit quiet and shy and didnt spend an hour before school hiking up our skirts and putting glittery hair clips in our hair so we were seen as being the underclass, unattractive and weird. But then i was never interested in talking about who was going out with who or what happened on eastenders so though I always aspired to be like those people I know at the same time i could never have been one and luckily it now means that not only am i hotter than most of the buggers but also far more interesting

We need to exchange notes: your experience sounds very similar to mine. I took Ancient Greek as an option at school. Can't do much nerdier than that - and I hated makeup [&o] .

How I've changed [:D] .

PS: are we going to have a "who's the biggest nerd" thread now, or wot?!

colouredin -> RE: Could curvy women be more intelligent? (3/19/2008 7:26:26 AM)

Haha I actually used to stay behind after school to talk to my teachers (I have one or two of them on my MSN)

But yeah things change, I am the make up queen, I realised how much things changed not long ago when 'the coolest" boy at school asked me to go out with him, and I said no ta that was the best feeling in the world!

im still a nerd though :P

Curvacious nerds... We totally corroborate the study. Now, to see whether our offsprings will have higher IQs than those of differently shaped women.

It's like Playschool!

In my model of the human mind subs may have a high IQ, whereas slaves have a lot more sense.

faerytattoodgirl -> RE: Could curvy women be more intelligent? (3/19/2008 8:45:12 AM)

guess they are looking for something else other than the color of hair to call someone stupid....dumb blondes ya know.... now they're gonna say dumb skinny ass... [8|][8|]

Rule -> RE: Could curvy women be more intelligent? (3/19/2008 8:49:50 AM)

lol

Maidens are skinny, but they have as much sense as a curvy slave in my model of the human mind.

To conclude: generalizations may be useful, but usually may be wrong in some respects as well. (Yes, that was a generalization.)
