I have just got a new slave and she is going to move in my home for a 24/7 relationship in April. She does not seem to like the collar that I make her where while she is in my home. I feel strongly as her Master that she must wear some form of a collar. Does anyone have any suggestions?

does it harm her in any way? restrict her breathing, rub in places causing sores or bruising? my only other thought is... is it your collar on her or her collar? this could be a much, much bigger issue than "the collar".

Find her a collar she does like? And if there is a problem, why make her wear one? The collar is just a symbol, your position of Master is no more or less if she isnt wearing the jewelry to signify it. Maybe try a bracelet, or anklet instead? Angel doesnt wear his collar, although he was collared. He doesnt wear any jewelry, and the formal collar was not comfortable. That doesnt make me less his Owner, just that he isnt accessorized as well. Fox's collar is just a metan and hemp chain, and we are working on replacing it becasue although he loves it, it is causing an irritation when the nickel plating is rubbing off. If you are that concerned with her wearing a mark of yours, and the collar is a problem, then look into alternative permanent jewelry. Sometimes, people just cannot be comfortable wearing something around their neck. Sub or not, comfort when it is something you will never take off again, is important. DV

just a thought- is she crafty? have her make one. there is some serious head space about creating the symbol for your bond to another. a favourite picture i have is of myself holding a collar arround my Master's neck. i'm just sizing my work, but O/our expressions are fun. hope this might help-just phoenix

I had many collars I was expected to wear for different occasions or reasons with my X Master but the one I loved the most was the one I placed around my heart when I decided He was the one to own me...and no amount of jewlry could make me feel more submissive or more his then that one.

Is she finding it uncomfortable - is that what she means? It could be that she is not used to wearing something around her neck constantly. You could try simple training where she wears it for an hour a day, then after a couple of days... two hours etc... prolonging the period of time she is wearing it so her skin gets used to it and the sensations. The collar doesn't have to be collar-like. Many people where chains or a necklace, even solid bangles similar to slave bangles, if that is more comfortable. the.dark.

I have a simialar problem with my collar. I cannot wear it at night (though I desperately want to...) because the buckle digs into a nerve in my neck. So Master bought me a simple necklace to wear that I am not permitted to take off, ever. Maybe try that?

[thread highack] DV, I love the new photo [/thread highjack] I am along the lines that a collar is a symbol, but since you are going to require it (did that sound like I think that is negitive? not the way its ment...) let her have some imput on a collar, hopefully it will be better for her

If the collar is uncomfortable, can I suggest a nice velvet choker? Works the same symbolicly but very comfy and nobody ever questions why a girl wears one. If the problem is the idea of the collar, well you done got yourself a kettle of fish. Its very important to you (although why you would collar someone before living with them?) And she is just about to move in. Yet you don't know why she has a problem with the collar. Sounds to me like a lot of discovery and negotiations have been skipped. Hope for the best. Let us know how it goes but really I would lay even money that she never moves in.

I cant wear mine to sleep either. It would be nice to have something that was a necklace that I didnthave to take off.

Master is buying my collar soon, He has already had me branded but he feels i'm ready for the collar. Master has chosen a swade collar because i'm allergic to alot of metals. Collar to my Master is big step and one must be very prepared and deserving of the Collar

It is important she understands our relationship before the move in date. She still spends most of her time with me.
