Status: offline 		Just venting here my friends.  I want to cry.  My ear hurts as in ear ache. I dont want to lay down as I been in bed all day and much of yesderday. 


PO me. PO me.  whiney bitch me shoot me.    Add to the mix my meds are in flux and food doesnt digest.

....we have had a ton of rain, and no one is A-1 right now.

So what did I do?

1. took antibiotic.  2. took tylenol.  3.  called neighbor; we are doing a buddy system. this means that if one or the other need an item from the store- we will get it- then clear it up the following week. 

4.  I am keeping today light.  5. i  patched things with Jenny- and said she may come for Easter dinner.  Ild like to stay up till at least 7:30.  laying in bed only threatens my back injuries.  So- it must be when I will sleep.   The neighbor too has not grabbed a shower.  So the weather system is effecting many here.

Status: offline 		Sorry you're not feeling well. When my daughter would get an ear infection a couple drops of warm Mineral oil in the ear cannal and then a cotton ball seemed to help soothe it somewhat.

We've gotten about 4 inches of rain here, that's more than we should get for the whole month! I just want to see some sunlight!

Status: offline 		Still raining?  Remember somewhere someone has it much worse than you do.

Not worse but I'm still in pain.  Over the weekend I threw out my knee.  I'd swear you can almost feel the knee cap drop out of place when my knee hangs.  I know this is not possible but its how it feels.
Today I can climb the stairs unassisted by the bars...so I'm improving.

Status: offline 		Big ((((((hugs))))))) I can assimilate with the ear ache thing, it is absolutely unfun, though beyond antibiotics I have no real advice on pain relief beyond making sure you do not lay on it....... I hope you feel better and that the rain goes away....... Wanna sing with me?

Status: offline 		i hated when my UM got earaches and infections. i used a warm cloth on his ear and it worked, also the warm mineral oil as stated above.  LOL, one ex told me that if i let him piss in my ear that would take away the ear pain, needless to say, i didn't get relief that way!
it is crazy here, one day nice and warm the next raining and stormy but lately always the wind, damn wind.

Status: offline 		Sorry about the ear ache sweetie.. I went through 2 months solid of them in boith ears. ickies!

Keep cold wind out of them...

You wont believe me.. but if you take a hair dryer and put it on warm, hold it arm length away from you head and aim it at your ear the heat will make it feel better. Also a heating pad feels awesome. ( odd I know) but it doesnt get down into the ear it's self so it is not as nice as the blow dryer. Warm ( not hot) oil in the ear drum works ok.. but be sure your ear drum is not ruptured.. and you clean it out well afterwords.
