and things beyond my control to change

before you came into my heart and spirit

Judge me from this day forward
and the person you have helped me become
Judge me for the warmth you have brought
to me, and the way I will choose to share it
Judge me for love you have ignited in me
and for the person it is helping me to become

Judge me for the heart, spirit and soul
you have allowed me to see within myself

Judge me for the person I am
since I have known and loved you
