I am looking for ideas on making toys.....restraints,paddles or whips , and chasity devices . Thank You for responding .

a couple of months back my Lord and i went to the local home craft shop(Michael's) and got a 6 ft wooden bar about inch 1/2 thick for making a mouth bit,a bag of leather strips to put around in and to also make small whips with,also we looked by thecounter and found great wooden paddles about 2ft long and 2 inches thick,using common old metal bed frames and D rings to strap down bars,and rope(the soft white kind) for a rope flogger. don't know if those ideas will help but figured i'd give it a shot. He also got the metal and made my collar and shackles as well.

hello. for ideas, there are quite a few threads that you can look up. like household items. There was also a recent thread started by HerLord that was pretty good exchange of ideas.

here are a few:

Spatula (wooden or plastic, but if it wooden, smooth it out so there are no splinters.)
hairbrush,(both for spanking and for sensation play.)
scarves,(for light bondage.)
electrical tape

Paddles....I have one that is home made....and was cheaper than 20$ to make...

My girl went to the dollar store and got a set of beach ball paddles...it kind of looks like a large ping pong paddle? I havent ever seen one before now, so I dont know how else to describe it. By themselves they arent very thick at all...maybe 1/4 inch or so...cheap wood...not sturdy enuff to stand up to a good spanking...

Then we went and got some awesome glue at wal mart ...its called goop...it has the consistancy of hot glue and dries almost as fast....I peeled the handles off the paddles, glued the two together and used some rope, also from wal mart at about 6$ a length at about 50ft to a length, to thicken the handle, and some purple duct tape to make it stay...all this after I spray painted and used some other paints I had around the house.

Whole process too Me like....an hour...most of that was creative time...the rest was just throwing it together. Its VERY effective....and held up well to a sturdy spanking on My girl....

Another thing is a ping pong paddle, you can get them for about 5$ at wal mart....the cool thing about them is the texture...so you paddle then use the bumpy sides to caress the skin...which its scratchy and makes the paddling seem sooo much hotter...and you have the edge, in case you dont have finger nails to scratch with as well.

As for restraints...old panty hose, if they have tears in them and you still have them...place the crotch/ass part between the matresses....then use the legs to tie the hands and feet with...you can cut them to the desired length, as they may stretch....but they work...and you can also get them at the dollar store...less than 5$ a pair...generally a dollar pair will work.

and if you email Me I can put you in touch with My girl who makes home made floggers and has made three so far for less than 60$ for all three...shes very crafty and I think is working on a crop for Me as well.

Chastity devices? I cant help there...lol...but kitten prolly could.

Basically walk up and down the aisles of your local "dollar store" and get your imagination flowing. Everything from kitchen utensils to hardware clamps to gardening gloves to pet brushes to paint rollers to ribbons and craft stuff..........and work up from there. The only limit to play toys is imagination. Spoken from experience

Chains, chains, beautiful chains! After reading a thread here, My Lord and I decided to drop by DomDepot and get some chains and connectors. We bought a 10 foot length of chain, and some screw type connectors, as well as two dog-clip type attachers, both two headed. Leaving it as a 10-foot length, My Lord has become VERY creative in ways to truss me up. We also got a smaller grade chain for...incidentals. The cold of the chain, the weight of it, even the sound of it is incredibly erotic. My only task is to sit still and tell him if I'm unreasonably uncomfortable. Total cost, with the dremel he talked me into, $60. Without the Dremel, $20-ish. Happy shopping!

pantyhose makes a great disposable strait jacket - just cut an opening in the crotch for the head, pull down over torso, put arms in legs, wrap and tie - works great

we use wall mounted hooks and elastic cords with hooks on the end for bondage purposes. both of these things can be found at just about any hardware/home depot type store. i've found through my limited experience that almost everything in a hardware store is pervertable, at least in terms of bondage :)

Go to your local pet stores, into the grooming section. Yep, i know... sounds weird. But curry brushes (rubber and metal) are great for sensation play, and for pain paddles if you're into that. You can also transform dog harnesses, collars and such into restraint systems.

Grocery store items, such as a bundle of kabob sticks (wooden) tied up together really tight and secure make an interesting slapper, and you can also use them as a form of edge play if you so desire.

Hit up your local leather supply store. Tandy seems to be the most popular, and take your pic from their scratch buckets. You can easily transform the leather and suede peices into floggers, straps, leather paddles, and whips with little effort.

And of course, there's my favorite place to go... Hobby Lobby! Nylon string can be woven or braided together to make whips of various feels. Their wooden dowels and wooden table legs and posts make great handles. As someone else suggested, they also have an assortment of pre-cut wooden shapes you can easily use as straight out paddles, or combine to custom create for your own style. Hit up the bead section while you're there. Pickup some pretty beads and beading string, and you've got yourself the means to make yet another form of flogger or whip. Swing through the fabrics department and snatch up some small curtain tassels for the ends of your whips or floggers if you prefer softer things.

It all depends on your own personal likes and dislikes. Use your imagination and get as creative as you want. And remember, even if it doesn't look pretty, it may still feel great. You can always dress up the uglies later!

There's a great book out there, titled something like: Making 101 BDSM Toys You Can Make at Home. I forget the author. It gives you uses, supply list, detailed instructions, and some photos.

In case you're confused, Home Depot is a great source for all sorts of lovely things that can be perverted into fun toys. My best suggestion is to plant your mind firmly in the gutter and take a walk down the aisles... you'd be amazed the evil ideas that will pop into your head.

If only you all knew what I've got planned for that caulking gun... mwahahaha!

The paint department at your local big box hardware store gives away pain stir sticks... I've found them to be perfect "disposable" paddles. Some stores also sell #8 rattan as wicker repair kits. You can make your own canes from them. Thrift store belts can be modified into leather cuffs and collars.

But a couple of the most useful things you can use from around the house are the chopsticks you brought home from the chinese place you ate at last.... and a roll or two of dental floss. (I'm NOT kidding!) Use your imagination...
