My 80 year old mother just got her first PC, it is an Apple. I know absolutely nothing about them except they look cute. [:D]She lives in Florida, I am in Michigan. Heh she cannot even manage email yet. My question.Is there an IM that Apple-ites can use that I can also use to IM with her? I Googled for awhile but couldn't find what I was looking for. Thankies in advance.

iChat!!!! you can integrate all of your other programs into it (AIM, MSN, yahoo, etc) and it's simple to use. it will already be installed on her mac. all she needs is an IM account set up (you can do this for her) and then have her type in her user id and password and she is set.

all that stuff is already installed in the mac??? thats scary....i dont have anything of the sort on my pc...too much spyware on those programs...and spam email.
