Do you ever get the feeling that your the only one guilty of random acts of stupidity?  I do!

When trying to enter a door I have to read the "push/pull" sign for a good 20 seconds  before my mind puts the word with the action.  O geeze push to open, gotcha!  I'm not sure if its a deaf thing or just a dumb thing.

Then there's the great love for scarey movies...only when I watch them alone I suddenly remember my childhood fear...THERE'S A MONSTER UNDER MY BED!! so I do the whole back the entire length of the hallway, and get a running start on jumping from the doorway to the bed only my apartment is small and I tend to over shoot the bed, often resulting in a near death experiance with the nightstand and my head.  Do NOT watch I am Legend alone.  And the whole time I'm laughing cause I know I'm a stupid ass.

O' and lets not forget the whole "I'm too young to die"or the "that can't happen to me" theory while I know this is not true I still have those moments where I really do believe if I attack the hill enough I'm eventually going to figure out how to get my quad or dirt bike to the top and be Queen of the mountain!!!
 
And temper tantrums OMG I'm horrible and I know it too.  Like not being able to get my starter back on right and kicking the truck, what the hell did I think I was going to do convince the truck that it was within its best interest to co-operate? 

I have bruises on my bruises.

Ah well at least I'm an endless source of constant entertainment, especially if your into Jackass humor.

Not much chance for that in my line of work. I do a lot of technical support.

as far as random acts of stupidity....awile ago i was in Walmart doing the weekly grocery shopping. I always use the self-checkout line because they are faster. I scanned the entire buggy full of stuff and then paid the total, well over 100.00. Then i left.

I did not bag the groceries. I did not take the stupid groceries out of the store with me. I just...left. I was home for about two hours when something suddenly occured to me. Where's the f**king food????

I HAD to go back to Walmart, as i could not afford to lose a 100.00+ grocery order. The customer service people were waiting to see if the bloomin' idiot would claim her stuff and laughed their respective butts off when i finally showed up. And an fyi...i have not used the self-checkout line since.

I did that with a package of chicken once.
I always do that at the drycleaners. Pay and try to leave without the clothes.

I drove up to the speaker at McDonal's, placed my order, went to the first window to pay and just kept on driving. Got home and thought to myself, damn, where's my food. In self defense, it was 2am and I had just gotten off a 10 hour shift of managing a Pizza hut.

I work at McDonald's.  People do it all the time, if you just call, normally you can work something out and get your food.  Of course, you don't always feel like driving back.

One time, I was taking a gentleman's order, and lets say it came out to $5.25.  He had $5.24.  Before I could say, "Sir, I have a penny right here."

He RAN out of the store, full blast, across the street.  I mean he was running like somebody was chasing him.  He got to his car, found a penny, a RAN all the way back across the street, and he nearly got run over twice.

When he got back in, we gave him a free drink for being dedicated, but really...  Jesus.
