I have experienced this first hand. It can be a very powerful tool in training a boy. It reinforces submission and has plethora of other mental benefits. You could even take it a step further and practice prostate milking.

Edging is a confusing term that should be avoided whenever possible. Basically they mean orgasm denial- working someone up to the point of orgasm, but not allowing actual orgasm. My partner has the perfect love/hate relationship for it, and I love it also.

He does this to me all the time...not for training, but for his amusement. Sometimes I get relief, sometimes I do not. It might last a short while or.....forever (at least it feels that way). Any time he works "riles me up" I never know what the end result will be - - relief or prolonged agony without relief. He owns my orgasms and they are never guaranteed.

i never had the privilege to experience edging but i would assume and get the feeling that it is the ultimate feeling of control!! Having to be denied what we crave for and giving that feeling to the Dominant party is a very stimulating feeling!! I've had a bit of experiance with it- it never made me feel particularly subby- just frustrated and aggressive. I can switch on the fly, and edging is one of those things that will send me into dominant mode in seconds.

AHAA!! This is where you can show strength of control and true discipline at the hardest of times!! i can sense the feeling of frustration but i think the feeling of power given to the D and the feeling of control of being able to do this by the submissive can have enormous grounds and limits explored!! This is where the strength of character can show for the submissive and the satisfaction he can have by sacrificing his or her satisfaction to please the Dominant.

I believe what (the appropriately named) Goddess Teaze is referring to is masturbating to the 'edge' of climax, stopping, cooling down (a lot or a little), and doing it all again. People tend to try to ignore how the physical affects the mental side of humans. Which is silly, when you consider that the body is the programming route for the control module. I prefer the integrated approach.
