No, send me 10 K, and I will give you 55% of the profits!!

So, tell you what.  Send me 10 kUSD now, and you can have 50% of the profits when I build the infinite energy machine!

why so you can accelerate something faster than the speed of light?  :)

No...unfortunately some fucking prick came in and stole my tinfoil hat...now I can't get the signals anymore.

you better hang on to that tinfoil hat too because it will help protect you from their energy weapons.  :)

As funny as you wanted that to sound it's not that far off, I saw a thing on the National Geographic channel, they've now got a ray that'll put u in Pain from quite away's away... The Problem is only the Gov. & Police will have them...And everyone scoffs at the New World Order... Hmmm

Real0ne -> RE: Free Energy another Inconvenient Truth (3/23/2008 5:50:22 PM)

yep no one wants to think about things like that.  It spoils their utopian self image.

luckydog1 -> RE: Free Energy another Inconvenient Truth (3/23/2008 6:07:35 PM)

Now there was another poster a while back who insited that he would have his perpetual Motion/Cold Fusion Genretaor up and running in no time (6 weeks was the claim if I remeber correctly).  I guess it worked and he retired to a little island to count his money.  Or got killed by the CIA.  I wonder what ever happened to that guy?

How long before someone makes a weapon out of this?

YOU  (in the royal sense) can't.

End of that joke.

Since the sun has been shining for a few days and its continuing the warming trend, I got to run my washing machine, and vacuum for FREE, I have 450 watts solar and 400 watt windmill, with 18-12 volt deep cycle RV marine batteries, I make enough FREE power to run the TV, DVD, surround sound all day, internet satcomm, or use the micowave.
The only time I loose power is if I trip the inverter 2500 watts, which happens but not often, I am however dependent upon propane, for fridge and heat, but not for long !

luckydog1 -> RE: Free Energy another Inconvenient Truth (3/24/2008 5:20:50 PM)

Willie, if you don't count the oil and energy it took to make the solar cell, I guess you can pretend it is free.

Its nothing special, just not taught in todays schools.  Lots of people have devices that do it they are none the wiser.  You can do it too Ron, in any sense.

mnottertail -> RE: Free Energy another Inconvenient Truth (3/25/2008 5:38:01 AM)

how does that work? supercolliders can't do it.  Neutrinos can't do it, blasars can't do it. Even your boy Tesla couldn't get 'er done, maybe spooky action at a distance can. nobody is carrying anything around in their pocket that is going at or beyond the speed of light.  Those to infinity and beyond the speed of light candy bars and cigarrette lighters you get in the SuperAmerica convienience store section are merely marketing gimmicks.

Nothing, no known matter, no unknown ponderable, nothing.....can exceed the speed of light.  Some can change the fabric of time and appear to get pretty quick, but are later proven out to be hoaxing you.

LOL, luck, not to include the inverter, the batteries that are not perpetual and will need replacing as well as other moving parts, the cost of the solar cell, the wiring the room to store this shit..........yeah, it is absolutely free!!!!!!!

On the other hand, when it is cost effective, its a beautiful thing, but nothing moves beyond the speed of light, not even Nicola Tesla......lol

I'm not so sure ...

Austrian Scientists Experimentally Demonstrate "Quantum Teleportation"

... quantum teleportation allows physicists to take a photon (or any other quantum-scale particle, such as an atom), and transfer its properties (such as its polarization) to another photon -- even if the two photons are on opposite sides of the galaxy.

...

What the researchers have verified is that by ensuring that M's polarization is complementary to A's, then B's polarization would now have to assume the same value as M's. In other words, although M and B have never been in contact, B has been imprinted with M's polarization value, across the whole galaxy, instantaneously.

The article also says that while this change of information can occur across the galaxy, instantaneously, that it's not really faster than light because you have to confirm that the change took place, which requires confirmation through a non-quantum method:

This does not mean that faster-than-light information transfer has occurred. The people at the sending station must still convey the fact that teleportation had been successful by making a phone call or using some other light-speed or sub-light-speed means of communication.

Perhaps in some meta-physical way, this makes sense, but from a practical point-of-view, it all seems faster-than-light to me. [:D]

how does one see something that moves faster than light?  and where do the headlights go?

mnottertail -> RE: Free Energy another Inconvenient Truth (3/25/2008 10:04:58 AM)

Oh, I hear ya. and it is close enough for government work.  It takes advantage of spooky action at a distance, and that has always left me queasy.

But the trouble is still there, there is no ponderable known or unknown that exceeds the speed of light, because at best, it would look massive (like lying with your face in the dirt and the earth is massive) and look like it is standing still, and at worst, we could never, ever detect it.

Back to the future, I had fantasized that 'dark matter' might be the rolled up dimensions that were being sought and that they were vacillating faster than the speed of light, but no such luck, dark matters being has been detected, however faintly....It ain't like I don't fall into surrealistic reverie, time to time.

But I still go to work, pay the mortgage, no matter how fruitless, god ain't coming today.

Ron

I read about that quantum teleportation a long time ago, in fact I think they have done it with copper, Lam and I were wondering where you sign up for frequent flier miles.
