MY turn for a fluff thread. [:D]

Well, I like all the fruit-flavored jelly bellies, I dunno who doesn't. But I really dig these:

I fell in love when I was in Munich 2003. Was a Penny-Markt (small discount food store) not far from my flat. I'd go there 2 or 3 times a week and get a few tins of potato & cabbage salad, some fruit, stuff like that. I'd also get some of the Tropi-Fruttis. Just love the flavor. Found this place in Texas has them, good price (200g ~~ 1/2 lb.)  but too addictive for other than a special treat for me.

Und so, tell us what your favorite non-chocolate candy is (if you absolutely have to, chocolate is ok, too [&:])  namaste

I adore their gummy bears!! Haribo is awesome, their cola flavored gummies are good too. I see them in a lot of places here in the U.S. too, like the Italian deli, those foreign grocery stores targeted to fresh immigrants, and even at Target sometimes.

Gummy Bears...not the prepackaged harder kind, but the kind from candy stores that are nice and soft.

my favorite is raisinettes - a box goes great with buttered popcorn or alone.

When I was at school I used to stop by the local proper sweet shop on the way home and buy 50p worth of licorice comforts, they are LOVELY, also huge huge huge flying saucer fan and strawberry laces, oh and lollipops but kinda a differant reason behind that

Haribo reglisse metre roule and Cocobats are da bestest. Can't find them in the local shops though, and I'm not that desperate to order them from online.

I've never had those. Are they like generic red and white, or are they like Cabernet and chardonnay?
(I know I said no chocolates hahaha, but I was in Vancouver last Xmas and had some Reisling icewine truffles. Oh. man, were they incredible!)

On the Haribo gummis, I've found pretty much everything EXCEPT the Tropi-Fruttis retail here in the US. major bummer. I can't just bop out and get some.

My friend Bettina in Munich has a friend whose family owns a Gummi-bear store a couple hundred meters from the Sendlinger Tor U-bahn station right in the center of town. Floor to ceiling gummis. Kilo bags of every flavor imaginable. Man, I seriously thought about hiding in the back so I could pig out after they closed. I can imagine sliding some strawberry cheesecake gummis into my woman (well, once I find another one anyway) and trying to suck them out. Sigh.

Had to click yer profile to see where you were, but, hell, in NY you can find everything. Couple years back I had some cheesecake from a place near JFK on the Island that was just unreal.

#1) spearmint leaves
#2) strawberry marshmallows (they have to be stale)
#3) raisinettes

Ahasver -> RE: Want some candy, little girl? (3/21/2008 6:23:46 AM)

Haribo ftw! And the best of all: they have a factory outlet in my town and you can buy big big cans of everything they produce [:)]

Stale????!!!! Okey-doke. [:D] Off hand, I can't think of any peculiar sweets-habits I have. I have some other food weirdnesses, though.
