Anyhow, I keep thinking back to past times. I once rounded up some bedsteads that were made or this thin pipe----they were left over from some sort of bunkbed someone scrapped. Anyhow, I sliced them up and welded them together into a reasonable small cage. Ended up being about a yard by five feet. I had put strapping down the bottom and then bolted in a plywood floor that had a foam pad glued to it-covered with some of the vinyl coated cloth that is often used for furniture.

I must admit that I really enjoyed padlocking a naked girl in there. Especially out in a room in the middle-where there was nothing she could reach through the bars. I tend to have a fascination for physical control and restraint.....and liked to see how long they could endure it-I'd leave a water bottle where they could get to it. I could still torment them when the mood struck me-without letting them out.

And I sometimes diapered them, since the cage was really too small to use a pot in. Anyhow-what do the rest of you who have used these think about them?

My cage is large enough for the use of a bowl; diapers have a big ick factor for me.

The cage is probably more therapeutic for my slave than it is harsh.  I think she'd live in there with her bear if she could.

I didn't have room for a bigger cage, so I just made do. And I padded the floor for a reason.

But I understand where you are coming from, one liked to be put in there for aftercare. Blanket and a water bottle, and left alone-made her feel secure.

Being confined into small spaces gives me anxiety.  When he does this, I am focusing on remembering to breathe and keeping my heart rate down.  I love being confined, but if I can't easily move I get anxious.  It's something he is working me on.  He won't NOT do it as a result, but he'll increase the frequency and duration to help me adjust and overcome the anxiety.

I used a bar spacing just small enough to keep a head from accidentally getting through for that reason. While still confined, it didn't feel quite so clastrophobic if they could stick thier limbs outside. And I never had to hacksaw through a bar out to get someone out.

I just got done with a welding course (and now looking for a welding job but that's another story) and may build a cage w/ a padded top in the near future.  It just needs to be able to break down and slide under the bed.  Any design considerations?

And Leatherist, I like your style of thinking...

Use angle irons for the top sides, 1/8 inch thick. Have them bolt from below to heavy plywood with t nuts in the wood. 3/8 inch thick solids should be fine for the bars. if you have the wood overhang the tops and sides-the door can just have a tubing and bar method to hinge it on. The overhang prevents it being lifted off when it is shut. When you need to stash it,the whole thing just comes apart with nuts. When it's together, it's solid as a rock. Keep the sections light, and avoid giving yourself a hernia when you have to set it up and tear it down.

The padded top is a good idea, I always made mine line up at the hieght of my cock when I was standing. You can probably guess why.

Anywhow, this should double as a bondage table, and those are always handy-the bars under will give you lots of tie down points. I'll probably build one myself-when I get a place big enough to handle it.

TMTA-enjoy dude.

Heh.  I don't move at all.  I just tremble a lot.  :)

I like hard bondage, chains, cages, manacles, etc. The strength of them makes me feel secure, the coolness of them delights my senses and the knowledge that I can't just wiggle out of them makes me feel very vulnerable.

Cages themselves are nice in that you can feel confined and yet not confined. They can be big enough to stay in, sleep in, walk in, even live in if you have the right set up. That sort of direct obvious control can be pretty awesome.

I also find in public spaces that cages have what I call the Fishbowl Effect. You are visible to others outside the cage, you can have limited interaction with them, but you are always in the "bowl" and you can't change it. You are on display.

I think it's the fishbowl effect that I like the most. Oh display how ever Ichoose to dress her-or not, and nothing she can really do about it.

He had his dog's cage set up in the livingroom once when I came over.  It's for a large breed of dog so there was room enough for me to be on all fours or to be in a fetal possition, but not large enough to streach out.  Even though it was only him in the room, I understand the fishbowl effect and it's a feeling I enjoyed.

I'm a horrible copycat.  Take a look at some of the collapsable pet cages, and you might get some ideas.

I love the idea of cages, but in my fantasies I'm always locked into tight hogtied or balltied bondage, gagged and hooded, and then shoved into the cage and left.  I'm not even sure why I like the idea of the cage, when I would be (and have been) just as well restrained without it.  But there it is.
