It's possible with practice. I've found that a peeled cuke warmed in the microwave for about 10 seconds is a good tool on which to practice. You don't have to worry about biting while the bottom is getting there but at the same time don't have to worry about something softer (like a banana) breaking during the process and causing a choke plus you can freeze the cuke between practice sessions. Start off with thinner rather than thicker cukes and once the thinner is mastered, you can gradually move up in size to the thicker ones until you get the bottom to the place you want. Starting off slow, breathing through the nose giving the bottom complete control over the depth can help alleviate fear. Use some sort of mark on the cuke so the bottom can see their progress. (A small notch in the side will work.) Give lots of encouragement any time progress is made and be there while the practice goes on (after all, you'll have a vested interest in the outcome!) If no progress is made on a given day, don't worry about it or call it a failure. They have probably just reached a plateau and will just need to keep working on it. When learning to deep throat, relaxation is key so setting a mood with music and lighting isn't going to do a bit of harm. Also, and don't laugh at this .. get the bottom a book on sword swallowing because the technique is the same. With consistent practice and your encouragment, it shouldn't take all that long before deep throating becomes a thing of ease for the bottom and a source of pleasure for, hopefully, both of you.
