I have been  on here for some time. I have not posted but do read extensively. I am  looking to change my life for good.  I would love to serve a Mistress  24/7. My lifestyle is collideing with  my real persona and it's time to move on.  I am unsure as to what it takes  to do this.

Not trying to be a wiseass here,but is there one answer fits all here .Makes things easier if there is I'll check back later get the roadmap/formula and my fantasy's will be realised .Hope I'm happy and not grumbling that old refrain about being careful what you ask/dream for

I would think complete obedience, and those not wanting autonomy, a slave, should possess a deep desire of wanting to be governed by someone else.

it takes a lot to do it... not to mention someone who wants you as a 24/7 slave.. but in the meantime, I'd attend as many workshops and events geared toward that kind of life.. things with a Master and slave emphasis, rather than things geared toward technique.

Take a look at the other threads on what Mistresses are looking for. You are asking what it takes to move on and become a slave? Well, for starters make sure that you are financially stable in a career that makes about 2-3 times above the average wage limit of the typical american worker. That is your first step and perhaps the most important one to get noticed. Then make sure you have a complete lack of personal standards and morals about the people around you. Give up your hope and faith in human nature and realize that most people will not recognize or respect your self-sacrifices. Get rid of any illusions or false ideas you may have and be ready to be disappointed if you do not meet the above criteria of being wealthy enough to put a Mistress into the lifestyle that she is 'accustomed' to. That in a nutshell is what it will take for you to fully move on and perhaps find a Mistress. Hate to be a downer or naysayer here, but a willingness to serve and please is simply not enough anymore without a vast paycheck behind it.

passinandy, the first thing you should do is just get some knowledge and experiences that aren't 24/7.

I'm betting your idea of 24/7 is based on porn or erotica -- very unrealistic but it turns folks on.

Most 24/7 is at the same time exceedingly mundane and yet very intense.

Only people who are in 24/7 dynamics will understand what I mean by that and we cannot honestly explain it better. It is something some of us have worked toward and now live.

Step #1: find a Master of Mistress that wants one.

Step #2: Be willing to give up everything in order to fulfill this dream. (sell your property, your car, all your posessions, and turn that check over to your Dom/me's control.

Step #3: Grant your Dom/me power of attorney over you.

Step #4: Trust them with your life and well being, until you die.

Simple, huh?

I'm thinking your post was tongue-in-cheek, bipolarbear, but in case it wasn't...

Actually I don't think that numbers 2-4 are necessary. I don't honestly think that #3 is even very wise and I'm personally very wary of anyone wanting that.

#2 is more likely in a modified sense. I don't know any dominant who are wealthy even to support a slave 24/7. I think if one wants to be a slave one should be prepared to do several things the most important of which is to fit into the owner's life, not she/he into yours.

It was meant to be tounge in cheek. But, there are some I know of who have gone that far. The thing is, I should have mitigated that list with the Dom/me also having the right and responsibility to put you to work to support their household, tell you what possesions you may have, what hobbies you may persue.

(If I were to ever be in a position of being a full time Dom, you can bet your butt that I would get everything out of a sub that I could. Sexual pleasure, income, housework, and creativity. I'm kind of a romantic that way. I see being Dom as one part slave driver, one part latin lover, and one part "My Fair Lady." I'm the same way with the dogs I train to hunt. Take basic materials and turn them into something more than what they were.) LOL

I think it all depends on the expectations of the person that you seek, or that you find.

Some here would want you to sell everything and live in a dog kennel in the laundry room....doing nothing but living like an animal.

Others would consider it to be more of a live in/ married type existance with one person being the leader and main descision maker.

Each dynamic is different. And each Dominant requires different things. It really will depend on what you find.

For Me personally, I have kids, so I couldnt have some boy/girl chained and bound 24/7. What would work ideally for Me would be to have the slave obtain his or her own living space so that I could come to visit for extended periods of time, as My schedual allowed, to relax, and work with them.  In essence, they would have their own things to do and I would have My own things to do, but the paths would cross regularly and they would be owned by Me, and refer to Me on all things...or live in that place with a list of things I would have set down for them to do. If that makes sense?

For some one else, it could well be that chained and bound existance. I would suggest before allowing yourself to be so apprehensive and worked up and worried that you find what you seek in a person and then work out the details via negotiation or while under consideration.

It seems to Me like you are putting alot of pressure on yourself a bit early in the game...just take your time and find what you want, and work out the details as it comes into play.

Even those of us in 24/7 relationships need to do laundry, go to the grocery store, get the oil changed in the car etc. And I'm not wearing fetish wear for any of those things.

When I was 16 I used to think it was awesome to wear bondage gear out in public.  Just to like, y'know, go down to Johnny Rocket's and get a peanut butter milkshake would require a metric asston of fishnet, leather, and metal.  Most people just rolled their eyes and commented about those damn fool kids.

I wonder if I could still get away with it now... hmmm.... I smell a social experiment coming up!
