Enthusiasm and registration are in swing in PA. The 24th is the last day one can register to votein PA. [for this primary] It should be interesting. Governor Rendell thinks he will deliver the state to Hillary. When it isnt quite that simple. I dont view PA as like Ohio. Not at all. PA is more like upstate new york, and Maryland, even Jersey, but not Ohio. I also dont think the race demographics will come into play, in PA. Basically you have the Pocano area which is an after thought to metr NY, sprawal north of DC/Baltimore, Phily which seems to never end. Pittsburgh which is its own world, and Erie which no one ever goes to. Which brings us back to sprawal. Increased registration for whom? Hillary or Obama? BTW- voter lists are public knowledge. PA can be interestig. It is densely poplulated. Urban vs rural the unlying current on most every issue. I doubt Hillary will take PA. It could be

Why would Hillary drop when Obama is now fumbling and bumbling with identity politics? Polls show Obama is losing white men because he refuses to specifically distance himself from racial comments made by his preacher. Obama cannot win this election by being "the black candidate." Even diehard Democrat analysts agree. He may win the Dem nomination, but he will fall flat in November. You cannot win an election on race.

Never said I was too busy on election day. Never complained about gas prices either as they don't affect those of us with little cars very much. What I did say was that this will be the first election in which I intend to vote. The reason for that is that I do not believe that the "lesser of two evils" is any basis for a form of government. I refuse to choose the "least sucky" candidate when I don't like either one. In this election, I believe in Obama. I believe he can do some good work. So, I plan to vote for him. However, between Hillary and McCain, I believe more in McCain. I don't agree with everything he said, but I'd rather see a war veteran in power than some chick who who can't even have a simple debate without acting like a total gash.

As it stands right now, McCain is leading Obama in Pennsylvannia by 4 points, Ohio by 7 points, and Florida by 9 points (one poll has him up by 11 in Florida). As i said earlier CyberDude wrangling the nomination is always a possibility especially taking into account these are the Clinton's we are talking about.The problem there is you tear the party apart your base is pissed that you took it out of their hands ,And McCain gets sworn in as President in JAN.
