Hello Everyone.  I have decided to seek out some fellowship and information on the forums here.  I have had a profile on collarme for awhile (prior to this one I had a different name).  I am also a member of a few other sites. 

I am a pansexual submissive girl with slave leanings.  I am comfortable with being a girl and comfortable with my submission but full surrender into slave is a place of fear for me.  The pansexual can be likened to bisexual but without ascribing to the binary gender system that exists.  I am typically attracted to an energy and not a set of genitals. 

I am 38 and currently a graduate student.  I am a peer health educator in the area of sexual and gender health part time and I am also trying to get into a MPH program (currently am in sociology MA program). 

I have had a number of years in the BDSM community but as I have written in a blog I have - I have a lot of knowledge but I "know" very little.  I have had the priviledge of wearing 2 collars - one was a training collar and the other a collar of consideration.  Both were lessons and experiences with good and bad.  But I think life is that way so I continue to move forward and try to find my path. 

I am finally able to be more active in the real time BDSM world.  I am grateful for that.  I am not very trusting of words on a screen when it comes to getting to know someone but prefer to meet them and get to know them from there.  I am hoping to attend a couple of conferences this year and will hopefully get to attend Folsom as well again (I attended in 2006 but was unable to last year).  Also the Flea Market is coming up and I am looking forward to that.

I hope to get to know others here and learn from others.

 Very well written profile my dear.  I wish you the best of luck on this site as well as the others.  I agree wholeheartedly that nothing beats a face to face conversation.  Sounds like you have plenty of r/t experience to draw upon.

Funny, I relocated to CA from Indianapolis.  I lived in Indy from 97 to 2006.  I was not as active there though because of many things.  I do return to visit my mother who still lives there though about once a year.

Thank you Warrenwriter. Some days I wonder if studies ever end.  I hope they do not though :) I enjoy learning and will always thrive when I am able to do so.
