I am going to the Netherlands soon, and like to knw if there are any good spots or clubs to visit?

There was one in Rotterdam, but for the life ofme,I can't recall the name... great place though... very friendly people, nice space.

I highly recommend the Rijksmuseum (art, featuring Rembrandt) and the Anne Frank house. And take a ride on a canal boat. Yeah, it's touristy stuff, but still great!

www.sameplace.nl has regular bdsm themed evenings. I have never been myself. There is also a thing not to far from Amsterdam called 'showboat' which hosts fetish parties, but I don't know when worth a google. Munches are organised by a group called 'vssm' also worth a google. hope that helps anne

yes dutchy ;) yes watch out with the mushrooms...lol but as with all..to much alcohol and canals are bad too :P

I had to babysit 2 friends on shrooms (one escaped and ran to Vondelpark to enjoy the colors. The other went into fetal position in my bathroom without turning on the light and having locked herself in). And found out on Queens day that canals are scary when drunk. But also learned that biking while not sober is fun and easier- less fear. As for BDSM related things. I know of an all women group called the Wild Side Ladies. They do a lot of workshops out of the main homosexual center in Amsterdam. Last I heard (right before I left last June) that center was closed or being renovated or something? All I know is that it was making having meetings and play parties tough.

But at SamePlace, they don't always let in non-members if I recall correctly. At the showboat, only the monthly fetish/bdsm party organised by Mrs.Manita (http://www.mrs-manita.com/english/start.htm) worth the visit. On other nights it's a regular erotic/swingers location but not particularly kinky. If you're more into fetish/dance parties, you might want to check out the announcements at the GoFetish forum (http://www.gofetish.nl) though most there is in Dutch. I'll be off to Prague for a few days soon, but after that, I'd be more than happy to help you find a party or translate some announcements if that helps. Edit: it might help if you could be more specific about the kind of party you're looking for.
