Domiguy,   by the fact neither the Deomcratic Party's nominating process, nor the national election of the president, are direct popular vote.  But instead a weighted system, clearly defined in rules ahead of the event.   Even though the Constitutions says there are seperate state elections in which electors are chosen in porpotion to the number of Memebers each state has in the congress (both House and Senate).  The Democats ran around screaming that it was illegal, and wanting to use the National Popular vote total, instead of the Constitutional system, because it was against "the Will of the People".  Now the Democrats are ignoring the Will of people, thier own people, whom they expect to show up and vote for them..

Obviously you see no connnection, and are very proud of the fact.  That makes us on the "right" very happy.  After all Democrats still haven't figured out why the Willie Horton and Swift Boat ads worked.  And still seem to think that Clinton won in 92, instead of the right spliting its vote, electing the President with the lowest % of the vote in history, 38%.  Clinton holds the second lowest also.  Very glad indeed, that you can't even comprehend why others feel the way they do.  Very, Very Happy about that.  Please be very loud and public.  Do it in real life also.  Please.....

Oh and domiguy, you called me on my prediction that Obama would be out in a week.  I was indeed wrong about that.  Happily so.  The longer he stays in the better.  I had assumed that after he started falling in the polls, and his staff started getting ugly, he would drop out for the party to run later.  That he is going on pride and staying in is wonderfull.

I will happily admit to making a prediction based on Obama caring about the party, not his personal pride, and being wrong.  How are you serving the crow today?

The most laughable thing to me is this. All we have heard from the Democrats in the last 2 elections is 'count every vote'. Remember Florida and Ohio ? Now they won't count their own votes from Florida and Michigan. I think it's priceless....

You obviously have a limited insight to what has transpired in these events to make you believe that there is some sort of correlation. Please explain how the two are related.

There is no direct relationship. However, the irony is rather inescapable.

If one is trying to be "cute"...I guess it makes some sort of sense. But it is meaningless to the overall landscape pf things.

Selecting? GE/Westinghouse/GenDyne

Which person will they be selecting?

And why them and not some other multi-national corp.?

What if GE wants one person and Haliburton or General Dynamics someone else?

Do they flip a coin?
